I was so annoyed when my weapons got taken away -_-
Let alone all the territories you take over are back to deafult too
also in "The Da Nang Thang" mission weapons taken away and you have to collect all weapons

I actually completed this mission without attracting any attention. I stopped my bike in the groups of trees, waited for a gap between the patrolling guards, and ran inside the cabin. Luck was on my side, because the witness was facing away from me. One clean shot in the back of the head from a silenced pistol that I bought from the Angel Pine Ammu-Nation solved everything. Then I grabbed the car outside the cabin and drove off the mountainside and tumbled down safely to Angel Pine.

Thats exactly how this mission is meant to done. These walkthroughs use braindead way. No effort at all
You can stand even in front of witness and he won't notice you.

Bikes are overpowered in this game. A bike can also climb a near vertical wall. You usually don't fall off, and when you do you take very little damage.
I killed the FBI agents with a silenced pistol that I got from back in Los Santos. I felt like this mission called for some stealth, so that the FBI can't alert others by radio.

Nope. As soon as you finish the mission gren sabre,SF gets unlocked. It's still blurred on the map,but an area gets clear once you reach there. Not necessarily you have to visit SF until the Wear flowers in your hair mission or whatever,but you can visit SF while on free roam. LV and desert still remain locked.

good driving skills up the hill. I have to admit, it almost scared me when CJ went off the cliff, going downhill. Well, at least he's alright.
lol remember this mission always just sneaked past the guards inside and beat the shit out of the target with my fist then quickly took a picture and ran out and drove of the mountain on my bike :D ahhh good times

I have a core memory of my brother playing this mission when I was probably 3 to 4 years old. I watched him struggle to get past the guards. For some reason I thought this mission took place on the inside of a volcano without lava, or a crater in the top of a mountain or something, it’s funny how memories work. I decided to go back and play the original GTA games to try and find this mission.
And this is probably where the myth of Mount Chiliad horror voices came from .

Thanks i didn't know that there was a gun back there I just play and completed the mission without any weapon.i just sneak past the guards and fist the informer till he's dead,and then take picture of him and then run away while the guards are shooting at me.

Without weapons this mission is hard.
Yeah, I took Roadtrain instead of motorbike and drove into the guards. Witness was going to escape but I pushed him from hill. Car fell upside down and exploded. He escaped and was walking around. I found him and used Roadtrain to finish him (and the mission). That was epic way to do that!

I used to steal a truck and push the car into the water, and the target would try to enter the car and end up drowning lol

Failed the mission once already and don't want to again?
1. Get a tanker.
2. Agree to automatically cross the route up Mt. Chiliad.
(2b. Try to imagine a truck do that XD.)
3. Once up there, ram the witness's car out of the garage and over the cliff.
That alone prevents him from escaping (he won't ride the bike), but here's the best part - wait for a while down there and he'll fall/jump off the cliff himself.
Voila - take a photo of his stiff without firing a single bullet. XD

when i was chasing the witness when he got in his car car went flying and i thought it was a mission failed the witness committed suicide near the drop i was all like wtf?????

Pretty much, except he lives on the outskirts of the desert rather than the "badlands". More like the trailer park in Las Venturas.
Use a turismo next time and use the cheat speedfreak

Nope. This is where you have full access to SA and the surrounding countryside without getting wanted stars. LV and the desert still remain locked though.
