I’d put it in the low to mid 50s…. A really nice flat! It’s crazy how big they get in tiny little creeks
That was my exact thought as far as weight. We catch em like that here in the Altamaha river in GA, all though I have to admit ones over 50 arent a daily catch by any means

I love the color patterns on those things, so unique! I’d say you are very close calling it a 50 pounder, she was thick. Definitely far north of 35. Can’t wait for part 2 👍

They really are some of the coolest most interesting fish, they just seem so ancient and of course they become absolute monsters. To catch one on a lure is just bad ass, job well done.
