Some song recommendations: Taylor Swift - "Bad Blood", Katy Perry - "Wide Awake" & "Part Of Me", Pink - "Stupid Girls", "So What", "U & Ur Hand", "Blow Me (One Last Kiss)" & "Please Don't Leave Me" (yeah, I like me some Pink!). I'll stop there for now. Thanks again for the great reactions! You're my new favorite RUclips artist.
i get an earful with every reaction but luckily i only have one that works and it's busy listening to music 😂😂😂 thx for the suggestions and for watching! :)
@@SuperJersh Sorry, no pun intended! LOL One more suggestion, Bad Wolves "Zombie". Not sure if you're familiar with The Cranberries song, but you really should give this one a try as well.
Social activism, sure but also political protest proven by the statement at the end of her video calling on people to sign a petition to push forward and support the Equality Act; by definition a political statement.
she's only recently become THIS political (like where it overpowers and is the entire subject of a song of hers) with a couple songs from her newest album, lover. her songs are usually more story-based narratives about her life. you should really check out her previous album, reputation. it's easily my favorite album of hers and if u didn't wanna react to the entire album, you should at least check out the music videos from it: look what you made me do, delicate, ready for it, and end game
@@SuperJersh no problem! also, just a disclaimer, most of the music videos from reputation definitely aren't as funny and light hearted like the other two you've checked out ahah they're definitely more on the serious side because of the events that happened to cause that album (the 2016 situation with kanye west). if you're checking out the music videos, i'll give u a little guide to help you choose which ones you might wanna do, if you're only doing some ahah: look what you made me do = angry ready for it = the song sounds kinda angry but it's really a love song and the video is just cool delicate = sad, but also fun and has some funny parts end game = fun/partying
this is great! feel free to keep recommending reactions just please don't spoil what the songs are about since i try to figure it out (even if i get it wrong i still have fun lol), thx :)

It wuold be awesome if you react to Look What You Made Me Do,... Ready For It?, bad Blood, Out Of The Woods or ME! By Taylor Swift. I loved your reaction 🔥
No audience for T Swift Reactions?! Haha! We’re one of the biggest fandoms. I just now stumbled across your channel but I love your reactions to her! Would love to see you react to folklore/evermore. They’re so good!!
About what you said with child custody, nowadays there is no reason for it to be biased toward one gender or another, but in the past, the system may have been biased toward the mother because the mother would frequently do all of the child care and father's did nothing. I know it wasn't that way with every father, but it was common. So if the child went with the father, they might not have been cared for properly. Not that they couldn't have learned, but generally they made no effort to.
I agree it’s good that things are more balanced for both parents of any gender getting more and more balanced parental time, I would say that it’s an assumption that dad’s didn’t do a good job because it started out in favor of mom so who’s to say what would have happened if it had been 50/50 from the start when those laws were being made but thankfully progress has shown that it’s much better for everyone especially the child when both parents are healthy and involved, definitely not stuff id think I’d be talking about when I started reacting to Taylor Swift but that’s part of the fun lol, thx for watching! :)
She is not a political activist who sings, but lately she has gotten into making a voice for herself. Standing up for basic civil rights. A lot of her fans are gay and she felt hypocritical for not speaking out in support of them. This is discussed in her documentary Miss Americana. It is on Netflix. To learn a bit more, it is well worth the view of it. It’s actually very very good and opened Sundance film festival. I wouldn’t call her an activist but lately she has made her political views known and she is speaking out for what she thinks is right.
I don’t think Taylor is saying the people who are hating are like what people would call “hicks or white trash.” I believe she is saying that kind of thinking is ignorant, which I agree with her! Nice reactions!
I just recently found your reactions. Taylor usually does do the breakup and love songs. She became more political this past few years, there is a song that she released (not on any album) called "Only the Young" it is a political song. Great reaction. But remember don't guess to early.
I would say this is more human rights oriented not so much political, as some of her other tracks are. On a side note, totally enjoying your reactions.
She really is not a political artist, she turned 30 in December so has grown through her music and is starting to have ‘adult conversations’ in her songs. Her dad actually impressed upon her at an early age that as a woman in the music biz, she should stay away from politics if she wanted to be successful and she has for a time but now she’s so global and has amassed incredible experience, she is so intelligent and that reflects in her songwriting. Her roots are in country which is why her lyrics are always so descriptive because as you’ll know, country songs are written as a story so that the listener doesn’t really have to think about any message there might be in a song. I feel you need to get to know Tay a little better and I really am surprised that being on her 7th studio album and being a recording artist sing she was a teenager that you don’t really know about her or have heard any of her back catalogue. She’s the Artist of the Decade and when you ask “why doesn’t she write about getting married and being in love”, I had to LOL 😂 because that’s what all her songs are about, her life, her loves, her hates, it’s all in there
It's funny how he finds Taylor to be more political than Lady Gaga lol. Taylor used to no be political AT ALL until recently. Whereas Lady Gaga has been political from the very beginning.
She's never been political until these last couple of years. She writes all of her music and does most of the video concepts herself. Love your stance on everything!
The funny thing is that she is not a political activist who sings. she mainly sings songs about her ex's, haters and people she doesnt like and about how much better she is than them.
Katy and Taylor had beef but now they’re friends again and if you take the first letter from burger (b), and the first from French fries (ff), you have BFF :)
Yeah no. Most of her music is all about her own experiences with love (mostly), friendships, & family, etc. she hasn’t been very verbal about her opinions on political or social activism issues until the last 2 or 3 years and she said herself that the reason she made this song in particular was because she started hearing that her lgbtq+ fans didn’t feel like she was using her celebrity to be socially active and an ally for them so once she heard that she made this song to kind of say she is an ally and loves her fans of the lgbt+ community. Also I love your surprise when you saw the sign Adam and Eve and realized what the MV was about.
I'm just popping in here to recommend you check out Tool's Stinkfist (which you already reacted to) with Taylor Swift vocals. Someone made it work, I think you'll get a kick out of it.
I absolutely love this song and the video. My only complaint would be I wish that she had not portrayed all of the homophobes as a stereotypical "hick". The sad truth is homophobes are just as diverse as the rest of the country. But I was really glad she came out and used her platform to make a statement and the fact that the song is so awesome is a huge bonus.
I know you have talked about getting into other genres, and I think you would get a kick out of either none shall pass or rings, both by Aesop rock. He's an amazing rapper whose one of the most verbose and complex rappers.
This song, with te man and miss americana are the only politics songs. You should definitely listen to style and out of the woods. Those songs have the 80's style, they are so good
Taylor Swift, after years of avoiding politics, really decided go large on this album and so we have this and also 'the Man'. I mean, she went all out!
This song, 'the Man' and 'Miss Americana and the Heartbreak Prince' are all political-type songs, although the latter one is all metaphors so you can also listen to it at face value. It's a bit different from the other two
Fun Fact: Taylor Swift and Katy Perry weren't good friends and that's what people thinks before this video came out, and then this video came out showing that Katy and Taylor were back to being friends making some fans, including me, cry so bad
Actually in this video is Katy perry with this video they announced that his problems are end ! 😂😂... And in the part of the drag queens is a impersonation of the pop divas Gaga, Adele, Nicky, Etc and she isn't there that is a drag queen the video had important personalities in the LGBTI community
The political side is very recent and came from a lot of backlash from not being political and staying silent on a lot of things. I think mainly because she came from country music and has a large conservative fan base. Regardless, I still like that she’s listening to what people want to see from her. I just think it’s a bit funny/sad that people got mad because she stayed silent and now they get mad that she is more political. I’ve always been pretty neutral on her but I love how she addresses the vitriol in this song/video.
You put this up several months ago, so I will guess you have already learned more about her. Her discography is: 2006, Taylor Swift; 2008, Fearless; 2010 Speak Now; 2012 Red; 2014 1989 (album); 2017 reputation; 2019 Lover; 2020 Folklore. She moved to Nashville at 14, with an artist-in-development contract as a songwriter. She had to homeschool after 16; she was touring. Her 2006 album was written by the 9th grade; songs on it range from when she was 12 to 15. Every album is based on what she writes since the last album. She got a lot of crap about dating: she has been the cover model for a large number of magazines (promoting her albums). She has dated prominent (and handsome) men from Joe Jonas and Taylor Lautner, to John Mayer and Calvin Harris. They were mostly NOT good choices for her. She has been with British actor Joe Alwyn for a full four years now; it seems permanent. Her record sales have always beaten the averages; Red, 1989, reputation, Lover, and Folklore are all still on the Billboard top 200 list. Speak Now, Red, 1989 and Reputation all sold a million copies the first week; Lover and Folklore did very well, also. She has won a huge number of awards (10? Grammy, 29 AMA, a lot of CMA/CMT awards, even the Songwriter of the Year (5 years straight) for the Nashville Songwriters Association. She has done a little acting, but isn't really focused on it. She has several soundtracks not on the albums, and has collaborated with several artists over the years. She has had some very public spats with several artists over the years; the media played them out to be worse than they actually were. Katy Perry was one; it is why she is in this video. She donates quietly to many charities: food banks, homeless shelters, women's assistance groups, and the Tennessee chapter of GLAAD. She donates more publicly to disaster relief (tornadoes in Tennessee this spring, Nashville floods in 2010, various hurricane relief funds) and currently is asking support for the WHO food banks, and local Covid-19 relief projects. She got "political" after she was groped by a radio station host; she won a sexual assault case in Denver after he sued her for defamation. She endorsed candidates in 2018 for the first time. She has also supported Kesha and helped pay her legal bills, after Kesha alleged sexual assault against her label. She has actually been speaking out (in her music) against trolls since her 3d record (Mean, Shake It Off, Look What You Made Me Do also share the theme of a maliciously false media narrative with YNTCD). She has always been something of a developing feminist; but she took a lot of heat for not using her influence to speak out publicly on things (most of the critics didn't seem to get that she was only 22, that she homeschooled and never went to college, or that she is fundamentally an anxious person who worries about everything). She didn't think she had a lot to contribute when she was that young, and her record label actively tried to suppress any controversy that might alienate her audience. The label also did NOT support her moving into pop (until Red sold a million copies in the first few days). Musically, she has always been experimental. There is punk percussion on her first album ( a lot of her early songs ended up in the Pop Goes Punk series, as different artists covered the songs). She also has a lot of input into the mix and the sound; she wants things to sound the way she hears it in her head, not the plastic way the label might want it.
Just about the parent’s custody thing, it was indeed sexist but not because it “favored” the mom. It was quite the opposite. It was because the child was seen as the mom’s responsibility and not the father’s. Because it came from the idea that the woman who takes care of the house and the kids, and the men are supposed to give the money. But we all know it was only because that was a excuse to most men to not take part in the child’s life. It is sexist but it goes so far deeper than being in “favor” of the mom. It comes from the reality that when women get pregnant, society only judges her and the dad can disappear but she has to carry The Whole responsibility for a two action.

I hardly believe that you don’t know more than 3 songs by her. She is the Artist of the decade. Anyways some good performance are Her Artist of the decade performance at the 2019 AMAs, and Her Brit awards 2013 performance.
i didn't know any songs by her until someone recommended i react to the man video, i don't normally listen to pop music or the radio, i've definitely heard a lot of music but none that i'm reacting to lol, thanks so much for the recommendations! :)
I saw in the comment section that you had considered not continuing T Swift reactions but I am glad to see you did! Yay!
Lol yeah currently going down the rabbit hole haha, appreciate u watching :)
Pls do more taylor
I bet you got an earful when this reaction came out!
LOVE IS LOVE 👏🏼 👏🏼👏🏼
Thanks Tay Tay !!!
I like how you take the time to look at the lyrics too! I'd love to see you do something else from her...maybe a live performance?
I knew you'd enjoy this after how you reacted to her previous video and song! The video for this is amazing.
'Shade never made anybody less gay.' Too true. Shade doesn't change anybody with regard to anything. Great!
She's a queen, your honor.
political? it's not politic it's social activism
Social activism, sure but also political protest proven by the statement at the end of her video calling on people to sign a petition to push forward and support the Equality Act; by definition a political statement.
Unfortunately that's considered politics now, whether we like it or not
Shade never made anybody less gay, genius lyrics! 😊
she's only recently become THIS political (like where it overpowers and is the entire subject of a song of hers) with a couple songs from her newest album, lover. her songs are usually more story-based narratives about her life. you should really check out her previous album, reputation. it's easily my favorite album of hers and if u didn't wanna react to the entire album, you should at least check out the music videos from it: look what you made me do, delicate, ready for it, and end game
thx for this info! i'll definitely be checking out more taylor swift in the near future, thanks for watching :)
@@SuperJersh no problem! also, just a disclaimer, most of the music videos from reputation definitely aren't as funny and light hearted like the other two you've checked out ahah they're definitely more on the serious side because of the events that happened to cause that album (the 2016 situation with kanye west). if you're checking out the music videos, i'll give u a little guide to help you choose which ones you might wanna do, if you're only doing some ahah:
look what you made me do = angry
ready for it = the song sounds kinda angry but it's really a love song and the video is just cool
delicate = sad, but also fun and has some funny parts
end game = fun/partying
this is great! feel free to keep recommending reactions just please don't spoil what the songs are about since i try to figure it out (even if i get it wrong i still have fun lol), thx :)
@@SuperJersh okay! if you want you could also react to her song "call it what you want". it only has a lyric video so i understand if you don't want to react to it, but i just thought i'd suggest it anyways because it's my fav song ever and i think it's a really good song to introduce you to her descriptive, personal, and storytelling songwriting
Non political? Something she did live acoustically... like the tiny desk!
Or Lover at the BBC Live lounge...
Or Blank Space from Grammy Museum...
"I'm not really getting into pop music to have a political conversation" *watches YNTCD* 🤣
Underrated reaction 🙌🏼
It wuold be awesome if you react to Look What You Made Me Do,... Ready For It?, bad Blood, Out Of The Woods or ME! By Taylor Swift. I loved your reaction 🔥
Really amazing
I may be late but Katy Perry starred in the music video as a way to announce that the Taylor and Katy feud has ended after 7 years
I think she’s just fine.
Time person of 2023!
Kimbra - Plain Gold Ring (Live at Sing Sing Studios)
No audience for T Swift Reactions?! Haha! We’re one of the biggest fandoms. I just now stumbled across your channel but I love your reactions to her! Would love to see you react to folklore/evermore. They’re so good!!
Folklore entire album reaction in one uncut video ad free is over on Patreon, thx for watching I’m glad u enjoy them! :)
Please react more to Taylor!!!!!!
You should react to Don’t Blame Me, it’s a great great song
the way u laugh... that's funny too
React to more recent songs with political / feminist approach like
Ariana Grande - God is a Woman
C. Aguilera and Demi Lovato - Fall In Line
#pride😊🌈
I just discover you and your reaction are so adorable!!!
Her being a political artist is just this newest album
Loved your instinctive reaction to the track and the lyrics - hit you instantly - just in the way Taylor intended, no doubt
You should react to lover by taylor
She’s the Artist of the Decade and when you ask “why doesn’t she write about getting married and being in love”, I had to LOL 😂 because that’s what all her songs are about, her life, her loves, her hates, it’s all in there
Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett to record jazz album
React to Lady Gaga - Bang Bang (my baby shot me down)
It's funny how he finds Taylor to be more political than Lady Gaga lol. Taylor used to no be political AT ALL until recently. Whereas Lady Gaga has been political from the very beginning.
OH PLS REACT BLANK SPACE - TAYLOR SWIFT nice music video
She's never been political until these last couple of years. She writes all of her music and does most of the video concepts herself. Love your stance on everything!
I like the reference that Taylor made to the song Tomboy
They played this at the last Pride i went to.
Shes right. People need to calm tf down. We gay. Move onnnn
The part with Katy Perry was her showing the internet that there drama was over
The funny thing is that she is not a political activist who sings. she mainly sings songs about her ex's, haters and people she doesnt like and about how much better she is than them.
Burger and french fries
BFF
Please react to all too well Taylor swift
Love your reaction :)
10:37 Jersh react to watch Katy Perry 👏🏽
If you are interested in knowing her better and why she made these political songs, then you can watch the miss americana documentary on Netflix.
The reason katy perry was in her video is because they both got over a feud with each other. Now you know💖
I know you have talked about getting into other genres, and I think you would get a kick out of either none shall pass or rings, both by Aesop rock. He's an amazing rapper whose one of the most verbose and complex rappers.
This song, with te man and miss americana are the only politics songs. You should definitely listen to style and out of the woods. Those songs have the 80's style, they are so good
You forgot Only The Young from her documentary!
If you like Taylor's fun videos, then you'll enjoy her music video ME! ft. Brendon Urie (another great singer) :)
Watch the wildest dreams music video!!! Or ready for it!!
Being political is new for her. If you want a non political song, you should check out Lover, it also has a music video.
i have another taylor swift coming up within the next few days, thanks for watching and for the suggestions! :)
It's a bit different from the other two
She is not all the time a political artist. Only this one and the man. It is kind new for her.
Interesting thing about this video is that Katy and Taylor had a years long feud, this video announced their renewed friendship.
Katy perry is beauiful!💗👌😎
Fun Fact: Taylor Swift and Katy Perry weren't good friends and that's what people thinks before this video came out, and then this video came out showing that Katy and Taylor were back to being friends making some fans, including me, cry so bad
Please react to her more and more live performances from awards and live tours
On the szene with Ru Paul all of the 'girls that all got crowns' are dragqueens.
Actually in this video is Katy perry with this video they announced that his problems are end ! 😂😂... And in the part of the drag queens is a impersonation of the pop divas Gaga, Adele, Nicky, Etc and she isn't there that is a drag queen the video had important personalities in the LGBTI community
PLEASE react ti billie same interview one year apart vanity fair
The political side is very recent and came from a lot of backlash from not being political and staying silent on a lot of things. I think mainly because she came from country music and has a large conservative fan base. Regardless, I still like that she’s listening to what people want to see from her. I just think it’s a bit funny/sad that people got mad because she stayed silent and now they get mad that she is more political.
I’ve always been pretty neutral on her but I love how she addresses the vitriol in this song/video.
Try to react to some songs from her 1989 album or her repuation album
She also has a lot of input into the mix and the sound; she wants things to sound the way she hears it in her head, not the plastic way the label might want it.
i like your laughs.
Please react to Lily Allen, she is very funny! Loving your videos!
José Américo Ferro de Carvalho Junior yes!
Please react to the videos for Picture To Burn and Should've Said No!
