I honestly hate CADC... but this dance was nothing short of brilliant, and breathtaking, possibly one of the best I've ever seen. I'll give it to them, with the incredible choreography, the story behind it, the perfect music, talented dancers, and overall exquisite routine, this brought years to my eyes. Simply amazing.
I always come back to this video. The era and time period here was captured so damn well. The melody, the costumes, the sign. Like you really feel the sorrow and pain as if they were orphans on the street dancing for food. Literally the best dance on the entire show for me.
I feel like this dance was sort of inspired by Newsies. The kids back in 1899 would do anything for money or for food. I feel like this dance really portrayed that.
This dance was beautiful. However I cannot give Cathy any credit. She didn’t choreograph and these dancers aren’t even from her own studio! They trained somewhere else. But it is my favorite group dance from CADC

I honestly hate how people think Nick dances like a girl. He is an amazing dancer and derserves more credit than what he gets. He's a great dancer AND a great contortionist! But some people don't see that. He's always getting crappy solos and he doesn't have the right choreography to make him go farther in dance. But I will admit.. This is a terrific dance.
You know, I really wish they would have stayed quiet the entire time. Their shouting just ruins the atmosphere & feeling of this exquisite routine, and the idea and feeling it brings. I understand they want to cheer on their dancers, and let them know how wonderfully they're performing, but it's more like disrespect/ignorance, even though it seems kind of an extreme way to put it.
If you look at the full version of "The Bird" which Nick has posted, it was actually a pretty cool solo. Still, I'd like to see some solos like Extreme Effects and Fallen
I love this dance sooo much but I think it is strange that CADC is written in the title because no one from Candy Apples choreographed this, they brought in a guest and these kids don't even go to her school. I just don't get it. But this is still like my favourite dance ever!
And also! When Cathy is choreographing it's just not good enough for these type of dancers. They need to have a more advanced teacher. But this group dance was good. Mainly all the ones that weren't choreographed by Cathy were good. Like this one. Or the one where they were like zombies. Those are the type of group dances they need! Not just some bicycle dance.
