I really love that mute function. You can infer from the clicking sound that muting doesn't wear out the sound over time. The switch mute kinda makes a static mic-rub sound.

For people still doubting, yes this is the best gaming headset, together with its brother the One. The One is open back so it will sound better and be healthier for your ears, but if you have a lot of annying noises then go for the Zero. If you don't need a mic get a Sennheiser HD558/598.

Robin9031 5.1 is not superior. And nate im thinking of buying it, its only 150 vs some other headphones. I currently use beats pro and they're great, never have had to use volume higher than 4/100 on these babies and its loud enough. Ive been using my beats for 3 years so far, used them everyday on my computer. I lately found out that the beats audio was hyped and only good for dj =( but im inexperianced with audio so is Beats Pro good or bad and is Steel series Siberia ... better because if so then maybe its time for me to get a new headset
Just now got TurtleBeach over the ear headphones from a thrift store with customizable bendable microphone and a volume clip in the middle of the wire and can be interchangeable from mic and head jacks then unplug the adapter for an all in one three pronged headphone and mic jack. Did I mention it was only ten bucks and barely used?

Potato. HD Ye I loved my skullcandys, mine broke (out of my fault). Although now you can only get it for Xbox One or PS4. I don't think they connect to both? The Skullcandy price and quality is pretty awesome.
Its amazing how similar they are to the Sennheiser 350's I have. The 350's are a pretty good headset, but the bass just doesn't have the oomph I was hoping for. I'm guessing the Zero's compensate for that?
if you didnt know already, you can actually remove the cable from the headset, and inside the bag the headset was in, in the package, is a kable, if you want to use the headset in your phone :)

God i adore Sennheiser, my current one has lasted for about 1/2 a year and have kept their speaker and mic quality fabulously with very few issues.
