Our First Trip to Knoebels! Riding Rides and Checking Out the Park!

Hey everyone! August means it's time for Emily's birthday. This year we decided to try out a new to us park to celebrate. We landed on Knoebels as the park of choice, due to the award winning Carousel ride that still features a ring grab game. Along with the carousel, there are so many reasons to visit this park. From the Haunted Mansion that is celebrating it's 50th year anniversary to Black Diamond Mines - this park has something fun for everyone.

It is free admission, bring your picnic basket too and have grab a bite at one of their many many picnic tables! Not only is it free to get in, but parking is free too! Weekdays at the park you can find wrist bands that will give you unlimited access to rides for a set cost. On the weekends (like when we went) they sell tickets by the booklet. For two people and a mostly full day of rides, the fifty dollar deal was perfect for us.
I'll link their website below. While we've heard this park is a hidden gem, like all things good - its popularity is on the rise. With free admission, there can be a lot of ground foot traffic but the ride lines were all reasonable.
Oh, and we forgot to mention - this is a dog friendly theme park! You are able to bring your furry friends to spend a day watching guests ride rides. While they are not allowed on the rides themselves, they are allowed in the amusement park itself, and honestly that was one of the coolest parts!
This park was so much fun, and we only got to see about half of the park. So we will be back soon for sure! The park also boasts camping sites and lodging on the grounds. As we left, it seemed like an after party at the camp grounds was just getting started! Next time, a stay on property is a must!

Knoebels Kamusement Kpark is a wonderful day of fun and excitement. Free admission, free parking, great food, free entertainment, and a variety of great rides for the entire family. The Knoebels family works diligently to set a remarkably high standard for cleanliness, courtesy, and operations for their park. They deserve all the success they enjoy.

Knoebels is the best amusement park I have been too, I’m glad you guys got to see it! I would definitely go back in the future for the park!
👍Knoebels is a full day type of park. All day ride passes are sold on weekdays only during the peak summer season. They have so many Unique and "Must Do" rides there. Don't know if you rode Twister, the other wooden coaster there? But the classic bumper cars are the best in the country. And for relaxing after their great meals the Pioneer Train and the Scenic Skyway are highly recommended. Did you enjoy the world's only wooden bobsled coaster Flying Turns?
Wow! Thank you for all those great suggestions! I am putting all those on the list for our must do's on the next visit out there. The bobsled was incredible! We had to edit out some of the sound just because we were laughing so loudly while riding Flying Turns! Everywhere we turn in this park, there is another unique and fun ride!! Thanks again for the suggestions and cannot wait to try out more of their rides.
I have camped at this park with my family ever since I was a small child. I love this park, it’s so nice and the food is very good. I recommend eating at the Alamo, really good food. Also I would love to know what you guys thought of the haunted house.
you really should stay there, me and my family used to do that all the time. and i feel like the tickets are actually better to get then the all day pass because you can just use them the next time you come.

on a side note your also allowed to use a 4 point camera harness in this park if that will make things better for filming.
It’s not hidden, you came in off of a back road. The main entrance is off of rt PA 487.
