Trench traveling across the whole of Ponyland for ingredients is more complicated than the swamp ingredients Reeka and Draggle gathered. Considering that Grackle and Dyre actually managed to craft sentient living ponies with the smooze suggests they are a whole lot more advanced in their magic skills than their mothers ever were. Trench would definitely make an ideal companion of Discord given his powers to travel between planes of existence. Not the best issue to open a story, but not the worst either.

I always though that the Season 10 was the most slap dashed comic of the series. MLP G2 sadly did not get the love and attention like the other generations. If there was a G3 or G3.5 and G4 crossover, I'd hate to see it.
