long trip nalgonda(telangana) to kochi(kerala) 1260km filling petrol is 75ltr.....1250/75=16.666. speed is 80 to 110. ECO mode
I got 22,21 on highway
2 passengers ac off front windows down , rear windows half open , sunroof open , speed about 30- 35 on local roads without braking for about 20 mins it touched 30 kmpl on the MID . Most of the time the milage was 22- 28 kmpl on maintaining the IFE at 30kmpl. I maintained it for 30 mins and it touched 30 kmpl on the main reading. ( Facelift Pure +S varient on city mode)
Is milage k waje se maine Nexon li instead of Punch . Milage Nexon me zyada hai Punch se.
मेरी nexon xz+ diesel है जिसका default mode City है जिसे मैं सिर्फ city mode पे चलता हूं sort trip में 16 17 और long पे 22 तक चली जाती है।।
लोग कैसे भी चलाए लेकिन मुझे व्यक्तिगत बार बारmode बदलना boring और extra mind use करने जैसा लगता है।
मेरे तजुर्बा तो city mode को best मानता है इसलिए tata ने शायद इसको default पे रखा है।
I took recently XZA+ Automatic i daily drive 30km in city.. but i hardly get 9-10km/ltr...in city mode.... and instrument cluster pe 136km dikh rha when i put fuel for 9.91 Ltrs..
Very Well Explained. Absolutely Logical. Demand and Supply needs to be balanced. When you need power you use Sports. When you are relaxed and just want to cruise , use eco maybe turn on Cruise control if you have that in your version.. Well done !!

My relative gave me to check his TATA Nexon XZA+ Petrol variant's mileage.
Got 16.5 In ECO mode in light traffic(On display it shows 17.9)
And around 13-14 in moderate traffic.
You need to be more patient on Accelerate pedal.
Not to put more than bear minimum pressure on it.
Then you can achieve more mileage than this though having big weight vehicle.
Well explained but problem in Mumbai City traffic is speed at 10-15 kmph with frequent braking. MID shows 9 but i feel abou 7-8 kmpl.

I drive my Nexon (P) by default on CITY Mode mostly.. i never used ECO mode ,, & got 22kmpl on highways while 12-13 in City(Includes all type of traffic condition).

Bhai meri Nexon 6700 KM chli hai abhi and at once I got 21KMPL avg uske baad regular kum hote hote abhi 11 KMPL pe aa gyi hai.. I have tried all combination which you explain isse badiya to pahadon mein jb chalta hm on sports mode wahan 10KMPL deti hai and city mein now its stuck at 11KMPL max.. Brother Agur eco mode me 70km/hr chalate wakt gadi ko slow kerani podi like 20,30,km/hr to kya firse mode change karni podega City mode Pe ya fir eco se hi uthhana chahiye...
Agar ye frequency jada hai, that means road pe traffic jada hai. Ab agar is condition mae apko koi jaldbaji nhi hai means no harsh acceleration then go for eco mode aur agar jaldbaji hai that means instant acceleration then go for whole city mode
But agar frequency kam hai tab ap eco mae hi fro 30kmph se dhire accelerate kar sakte hai

So i think i should purchase obd scanner and will check rpm n all those things in different mode.

Which mode is best for good mileage on following scenario??
1) nexon fully loaded on highway..
2)nexon fully loaded on hills,ghats
1. On Highways achieve your desired speed in city or sports mode, then shift in eco
2. On hills and ghats safety is the main priority over mileage, you need power, so go for city or sports mode
Brother Delhi jaisi city me ( jahan traffic bohot zyada rehta hai ) toh yaha maanlo hum traffic me 1st and 2nd gear me hai aur achanak traffic khtm hogya toh speed badhani hai...uske 10 min baad phirse traffic toh iske liye hum konsa mode kab use krein ?
Is condition mae acha mileage nikalna muskil hai kyu ki sudden acceleration v chahiye gap maintain krne k liye, ispe city mode sahihoga
But in low traffic jha apko lag rha hai gradually speed increase hone se v chalega waha eco mode

Mine is 95% city driving where average speed is around 20kmph..the car majorly drives in 2nd or 3rd gear and I shift between ECO & City where ECO is when there is extreme traffic & I am driving alone and City is when I have passengers. also when the traffic is not bumper to bumper but I am getting only 8-9kmpl..how to improve the mileage? I am consciously pressing the clutch in full & soft touch to accelerator
With an average speed of 20kmph it's hard get a good mileage

@@AK-we7df see the sweet spot to get a good mileage is arround 40 to 60kmph, but if you dive below or about this region the mileage will get worst, so considering you require speed 20kmph, try to avoid half-clutch , switch off the ignition when you feel it will take time to get the traffic clear,avoid traffic areas rather choose a low traffic road, try to maintain 25 to 30kmpl range in instant mileage meter bar

After second service , mera city and sport mode kuch bhi farak nhi hai. Dono same ho gya hai. Ku ch issue huva hai. City mode me sport mode jesi feelings aa rhi hai. Aur uske baad sport mode me kuch farak nhi dikhta.

I will suggest waiting for blackbird is a good idea as Nexon is already a successful vehicle and blackbird will be a gap fill between Nexon & Harrier, so definitely one will get something new with 5 star rating

Nexon facelift 2023 kabhi kabhi breaker me 1st gear par suddenly jerk dekar off ho jaati hai aur reverse mode me bhi randomly ekdm se reverse mode reject kar deti h any suggestions
For 1st gear just play softly with clutch and accelerator
For reverse, if its rejecting just release the clutch and press again, it will engage

Mode auto shifting ajtak mere case mae hua nhi, jo mode mae select karu usi mode pe selected rehta hai jabtak na ignition ko off karke on karu, by default city mode mae vehicle on hoti hai
Mae video mae basically traffic conditions, vehicle load condition, and requirement of time to reach the destination iske uper mode ko select karne ka advice de rha hu, kyu ki har jagah city ka same halat nhi rehta nahi highway ka rehta hai. I hope you are getting my point.

In such a scenario, if you are not in a hurry then you need eco mode and you will get a decent mileage
But if you are in a hurry ( need instant overtakes ) then you need city mode and you will not get a good mileage

I recently bought new Nexon XZA+ AMT.. I have driven it only for short distances till now (Odo is nearly 400km).
I am still getting maximum 9.5 km/l mileage.. Is it normal or something to worry about?

Mine shows 22 in instrument cluster and in tank to tank it was only 17.

@@justentertainment2816 Disconnect the battery terminals, followed by 1st negative terminal and then possitive terminal, after few minutes connect the negative 1st then possitive, this will reset the all info except odometer reading and cumulative average mileage, this will also rest the infotainment average mileage calibration, now start take reading and compare with tank to tank mileage

Safety is a very high priority in hilly areas, so when going downhill, you can use eco mode but when going uphill must use sports mode

2 weeks ago I bought nexon petrol, I am getting only 11 kmpl in city. Is there any possibility of mileage increase after 1st service?
If you take short drives, and too much engagement of gears and clutch then the mileage will be 12 13
There is nothing such settings but maintain proper recommended tyre pressure and don't rush with speed

with 3 people in the rear and diriving majorly in City. which mode is better. say the weight of 3 people put together is 160-200kgs+ diriver around 70-80 kg
With such passengers and say the road is with very very less traffic, then achieve desired speed with sport or city mode then cruise at eco mode , no issue.
But with such passengers if you think you need regular overtakes or repeatedly brakes then go for city keeping safety in mind, because with eco mode you will get sufficient power to fullfill your requirement of sudden pickups
no need for so detailed research for amt variant

HIGHWAY
When you're on a highway, use city/sports mode to get to the desired speed, say 80kmph, then change the mode to eco and cruise on the same speed. in case you need to get ahead of certain vehicles on the highway, then you should switch to city/sports mode for the time being and then change to eco when the road is clear for cruising at the desired speed.
CITY
When you're in city and you know you won't need a lot of the power then you should drive in eco mode for good mileage.
When you have passengers and luggage in your car and you're driving in city, you should choose either city or sports mode because the vehicle needs more power and eco mode would only stress the engine due to limited power and result in high petrol consumption.
MOUNTAINS
If you're driving in hilly areas, then you should use sports mode because the vehicle needs all the power at disposal to climb uphill. Eco mode would stress the vehicle. Use eco mode when you are driving downhill and the requirement of power is low.
