I currently have Diastasis Recti.. and I’ve had it since I had my second child. I now have 4 and have had a tubal ligation! 🙌🏽 I was told after my last son was born (6) months ago.. that I had a hernia.. the surgeon told me he doubted I had a hernia.. but I do have diastasis Recti.. nothing I do is working and I’m depressed with it. Was your surgery Dr ordered or did you pay for a tummy tuck on your own?

You look sooooo good! I’m 7days post op. I be stalking your videos and waiting for your updates lol! Glad your healing is going well. Did you feel like u swelled more once your drains were removed?

You're so sweet, & thank you so much for following my journey! To answer your question on the swelling after drain removal -
YESSS, I swelled a lot under the naval & it had me too upset!! But, the faja tummy tuck abdominal board, paired with constant compression & massaging, helped in a major way.
Hang in there, and if you don't have that board, please get it. Mine was purchase from Amazon.

That’s what I’m afraid of I still have both my drains and most my swelling in my hips for some reason but I feel like once these drains are removed I’m going to really swell. I have an ab board ready!

    • @shelitaprioleau4996

Let me ask you, do you manually draw/pull on the drains to help empty out the liquids from your body into the drain bulbs? Also, have you tried massaging your hips as well, in upward motions towards your drains?

Shelita Prioleau you talking about stripping? When I empty them I strip the tube to make sure nothing is stuck in there but that’s it. I haven’t massaged my hips should I?

Good to hear! Get all that fluid out of you.
And yes, I'd totally massage. Google 'lymphatic massage' so that you get an idea of what I'm talking about. I think it would help tremendously... But I'd say, to steer in caution, check with your plastic surgeon first to get the green light. Mine was all for it, but they're all different.
