Replayed this again on the tv as background noise... Really good info and suggestions, and i agree with your sentiment on the old vise and old tools in general.
Very good video. I just bought my first 1985 Honda ACT 250 ES , Big Red.600$, had top end redone. Runs good, but needs a little love. I have watched a lot of your videos this past week. Intended to watch a lot more. P.s. I'm 64 years young.
Hey man hope ur doing great I wrote you before about another issue. But I had to take the top end off because I lost the timing chain between on my 1985 ATC 70. Now when I put the head on and tighten it all up it binds up the motor. The cylinder moves fine but when I tighten it all up it is catching. Maybe did the valves tighten I’m so lost any help would be great.( when I spin motor with head in loose the head moves like it’s catching) ??
I need that shirt.
yes you do. mrcbuilds.myspreadshop.com/

Thanks Chris, i think its a great affordable way to get started and build up a tool box.
I never leave home without my favorite tool, cash. When you figure out what exactly will save the day, and it's missing or broken, go get it.
Cash, that is a good one too

Well one thing I think that is important is a soft face hammer.
That is a good one too
Bonjour,

@@504moto sounds like the chain is not on the crank sprocket.
10 mm sockets, lots of 10mm sockets
Always a good choice.
