Liked the vid. I don't have a permanent blind, but use the same concept when hunting out of my boat blind!! Like to try to make them webfoots land right to left, in frpmt of the blind. Easier for this one-eye old right handed hunter!!!
Great tip could y’all do a video on spreads in oxbow lakes and backwater iv only been hunting the lakes around the Mississippi delta for going on two years I use to hunt fields until we lost our lease great video fellas keep up the good work
In a place like south Alabama, when hunting hunting a marsh flat. Do you think it’s better to use a dozen decoys or should u always try to put out more than?
They're rigged for shallow water. Tangle-less (not tangle-free..just less) lines with sliding anchors. Pretty standard for rice fields. Try it on your own decoys. You can set up or pick up quick like you've never imagined. For skinny water you can wade in. Deeper and it starts to be a pita.
I take 5 at a time and use carabiners connect them to the weighted end of there leader, by the weights. that way you don't have to waste time restringing them and there already connected... yeah, you'll burn some money on carabiners but they stay tangle free and to me its worth it, zip ties would work as well
People say older decoys don't work like new decoys. I know people who buy new decoys every year and throw the old away. Not me I have saved decoys older than me. Whats your opinion on that
I recycle my old mallards and they become black ducks. Remember our grandfathers were hunting successfully in old surplus cammies or dark clothes with handcarved and burlap decoys long before the mojo duck and advantage max 5 camo.
Miss watching them each week on tv!!😢❤
i love the video like the no how you set up on a smile lake for late season
Excellent advice. Thanks Justin.
Thanks for the video - would love to see more spread videos for different types of hunting. Trying to improve my decoy layouts
We will add some more
Thank you!

Do u run a spread as big when u have birds in the area or just when u have big groups of new birds coming in? Great videos I watch them all!
It just depends on the habitat I am hunting. In a field I always use a big spread.

If texas rigged just put a couple overhand knots in the line.

People say older decoys don't work like new decoys. I know people who buy new decoys every year and throw the old away. Not me I have saved decoys older than me. Whats your opinion on that
Whatever works
I prefer newer ones but people have been killing ducks over black jugs for years

So your saying the more decoys the better on a rice field spread?
What's the least amount of decoys you would use for a spread? And what would be the layout?
I have used as few as 4 on a jerk string
In what kind of hunting situation would I use more diver decoys in my setup?
Open water
