- I swear to god the long time periods between my videos are becoming just my brand...ANYWAY!
I'm finally doing some content yoo, I've recently finished the Splatoon 3 DLC: Side Order and I feel in love with the whole ost, since my gameplay video that was supposed to release at the start of feburary got delayed and then Side Order came out, I've changed plans and I'm gonna be making a video about the DLC later, while for now I'm doing a mini series of remixing the boss themes from Side Order. This gonna be the first of 3 remixes I put out so stay tuned for the rest! (Maybe I'll release all the remixes as an album later on spotify/soundcloud)

Has anyone noticed the octarian leotmotif in this? The only time in the series where it plays with litterally no reason?
It’s actually present in a lot of side order songs, probably referencing Marina’s and Acht’s past in the octarian army!!

how'd you get the guitar to sound so good? is it recorded or what
Honestly wish it was lol, but no, I tend to use 2 midi guitars for some variety I guess, one is a kontakt library shreddage (don't remember which kind sadly) with an amp called EZmix and the other is ample metal hellrazer which has a lot of presets you can use without any amps. Other then that I just mix it to sound clean!!
I just noticed this and I don't know how to put it because I don't know the terminology...
In the guitar chords (not the main melody), we can hear the typical octo melody but I also can't unhear Splattack's vibe. Was 0ct0ptic0n constructed with a mix of octo and Splattack? Or not Splattack but istg there is a Splatoon 1 song in there.
Actually I think you mean the Onward! lemotif, the like octarian jingle from single player!!
@@X_Lumina_X There surely is the octarian melody but I can also hear something else from the Splatoon 1 multiplayer music and I'm not sure what it is.
Maybe there is another melody I didn’t recognize before lol, I’ll give it a thorough listen later and see if I can catch anything
