"No! Physics is the reason your bowels keep prolapsing after your uncle Rick and his buddy's tag team you on the bed of his truck.". I have never laughed harder 😂
The next time your cleaning up a machine that is old and greasy try oven cleaner (Easy off) works really good. I've restored a number of tractors and cars and have found the oven cleaner usually takes the machine right down to bare painted material especially if it is hot. You might have to use a couple of cans but you'll be amazed at how well the cleaner works.
Lord Muck, I come here for the excellent tractor videos and I get a hybrid of that and wonderfully funny humor! You are great! Thanks for taking your time to put out quality videos for the rest of us to critique!
Interested to hear you relate someone else's comment about engines becoming 'addicted' to EasyStart. I was once a volunteer on a steam railway. One very frosty winter's day, we were trying to get a dumper started. After cranking in vain for ages, I reached for my can of EasyStart and the engine finally kicked into life. At that point, the Chief Engineer rolled up and, snatching the can away, he scolded us saying "never use that stuff - the engines become addicted". I still don't know if that's a myth... // Looking forward to see you tackling the JCB.
The little 3000 does not look to be that bad to be fair to it. Looking forward to seeing it getting sorted out. It's a yes from me on the JCB. Get her running 👍😀
Absaloutley brilliant video mate on a few different levels 😂. As you know I love seeing people trying to get old shite running😁. There is something strangly satisfying seeing something look like the wee 3000 before and after ☺️
I have a ford 3000 tractor and your diagnosing skills before turning over the engine and use of the starting aid spray is on point.kindly update us on clutch trouble shooting skills on your subsequent videos.
I cut a lot of hay with a Ford 300 and a JD haybine and raked even more hay with a Ford 2000 growing up! Seeing the old beauty brings back memories keep up the awesome and informative videos!
Hi great vid...I have a preforce 3000 with a Duncan cab.... been on the farm almost as long as me...grew up driving it...took my tractor test on it ....and it spends its winters with a transport box on shifting and feeding sheep and the summers hay timing.... been a great servant.... glad your getting that 1 back to being useful... these small tractors still have plenty of uses ....keep up the great work... and ignore the nutters...👍
Appreciate the effort to resurrect older barn finds. Of course, the cab must be fully restored/rebuild before determining if the drivetrain is still functional ? Love it.
Ha. That was so funny. Down with the haters. You are one of the best RUclipsrs out there. Gwon boi. Greetings all the way from Ireland. Ps. Great editing too.
I’m so glad I found your channel I haven’t laughed so long in an age! I’m guessing from the accent you are East Anglian? The perfect channel for me old engines and humour! Quality!
Well tell him no matter how much he pulls it it dosen't get longer lol. So while I have you on the line I'm from ottawa Canada and my question is i owne a jcb tractor and my nabour has a telahandler and we have no end of problems with wireing. Their's a perception in north America that wiring in things built in England isn't good. What's your thoughts.
These days the wiring looms are made abroad, just as they are in a lot of American goods and are therefore just as shit as the wiring on a Dodge or Chevy. The days of Joe Lucas (the guy who invented the short circuit) are long gone.
Lovely little ford, it looks very straight. Definitely interested in seeing the jcb running. I briefly had a 3C mk2 when self building ... cumbersome thing for that job but still a nice machine.
Getting a bit worked up there Mucker, you'll do yourself a mischief! The old girl will make a smarshin little match ploughing tractor. It'd be fantastic if you were able to start and move the JCB too.
Great video Lord Muck!! It's so refreshing to see you call out keyboard warriors who don't have the sense they were born with, in such a humorous way. Keep it up!
I have to say my lad you are straight to the point a make it funny while doing it and you are right in the points You make just makes my day seeing these videos please don’t ever stop 😂😂😂👌👍
I whole heartedly agree with your Lordship! Only time I break out the washer is if the grime so thick I can't find the bolts. Totally agree on the ether subject as well. Good to see someone dispelling the myth. I would live to see the JCB run again! Cheers mate!
Loved how you made your point; a bit of dirt won't keep it from running. I run into the same thing with my lady looking at the rust on my truck and saying I need another one. The won't keep it from running, an engine or transmission problem will. We got to set priorities in our projects and our lives. Don't get drug in by glitz andBS, look for the quality and substance.
I would love to own a Ford 3000 because when I was younger I work.on a farm the farmer had one it was a great see tractor and it done most of the work on the farm
i did just the same with my old series 3 landrover that had been standing under trees for 15 year, got it running then power washed it. Those do gooders are not of this world , well done
Just found you scrolling through and saw the first 2 videos on this ol ford. Love the fact you don't deal with peoples BS. I grew up on these old Ford's. Many a times we had to use either on cold winter days. Had no I'll effect on them.
Loving the sense of humour👍how dare you not share some smoke 😭 definitely like to see JCB up n running👍my mate has JCB 3CX-4 in great nick n used on the farm. I got the plate but hard to make sense, can’t work out what year model it is.
That would make a great scraper tractor that old Ford. You will need to wash the JCB off before you try to get it running, just so that you can see it better if it gets dark whilst you are working on it.
I used to drive a 4600 every year haymaking. For a 3 Potter it had some decent pull. Yes get the owd jcb fired up. My fave tractor was the David Brown due to the fact that they'd stand all year but start first time everytime. Keep the vids coming lord muck. Your doing the agricultural relics good justice.
Great video obviously the jcb will never start without a wash you were lucky with the ford but l can’t believe your luck will run to two unwashed vehicles starting in a row
Nice one lord muck . I hope you keep doing bits on ford 3000 . I myself have 2 tractors in the thousand series . A pre force 2000 with cast numbers in October 1964 . With a 6 speed gearbox . No clocks . No fast and slow in the lift . No dif lock . The half axles are more rounded . It had no lights on front grill or on mud guard . . The hole for horn switch is not cut out . It was parked up for 20 year . I strip the engine down . Was no ware on the engine . Was lucky clean up the liners and set ringing . Valve's were bad from rust . So got head rebuild and bigger valve's and bigger injectors . Start frist time . . It's a flyer on the road and has done many tractor run . With a day or two turning hay . The second tractor is pre force 3000 1967 model . This tractor will start with a battery from a Ford fiesta . Running log splitter . Chain harrow grassland and grass topper .. . I hope you can show the 3000 doing bit of work . Top class video's .
I didn't wash my Ford 3000 when I bought it, checked everything over mechanically first and fluids, then drove it home. I didn't wash it till around 4 weeks later.
No joke I enjoy watching someone with common sense that knows what they are doing
"No! Physics is the reason your bowels keep prolapsing after your uncle Rick and his buddy's tag team you on the bed of his truck.". I have never laughed harder 😂
