You’re absolutely correct about that Paul. I like sitting a bit back in my seat so that my shins create a little forward angle. Not straight and not knees in front of the foot. Great point there I forgot to mention in the video.
That’s awesome man! Hopefully it won’t take too many months to get it. But let me know when you do and if you like it. They are such great sounding drums but make sure you change the heads
@@babaloop I always change the heads. I have a Sonor AQ2 that sings since the SQ2s are way above my budget, but that Tama has that low end thump that dissolves kidney stones. Sonor is my mistress, but I’ve been married to Tama since my teens.
@@rkaylor5769 nice! I have an old set of Sonor Hilites. All maple shells. Sounds amazing. Hard to beat. It was from the early 90’s. My favorite kit for sure but I do love those Tamas!!!
Lately I have been putting my hi hat a little higher so that I have a lot of room between my left hand for my snare. If I put my hat too low than my right hand and left hand sometimes clash together
I totally agree how your seat is cause I have my that same way 👍
Cool man. It took me a bit of experimenting to find the sweet spot but once I did, I knew right away “This was it”!
Great video also I found the seat position just as important to so when you sit down your feet are on the sweet spot of the pedals
Seat distance Paul.

Just stumbled upon this channel due to your review of the Tama SC W/B… Good stuff. Subbed.
Hey, right on! Thanks. I appreciate it!!!
@@babaloop I bought that kit in ocean blue ripple. Today.

My sitting position is just like yours. Most comfortable for me.
Yeah man. I had to try a few options and the lower I got, the better it started feeling.
Hi paul, the video was good. I have a question. Do you usually put your hI hat up or down?

Ok understand thanks.
