VICTORINOX Replies (1) Yes, true Metal Chunk or Metal Bar. INOX case and crystal are rediculously dense thick that beats my Milgauss, pale in comparison. A "Beast" with unexpected heft comfort.
(2) This Quartz version is robust due in part of (1) and hence, good shock resistance since its also Quartz. A true Swiss MilSpec, "God's Tier Watch".

(2) The endlinks and leather straps were sourced seperately with different suppliers..
(3) I thought DateJust 41 / 2 offered good value varieties in terms of contemporary design sizing.
(4) The 21mm lug widths with odd stepped shaped concaves for bracelet's lugs fitting to the case are not to my liking for different straps installation aesthetics. I'm not sure if endlinks would resolve this unexpected odd layout.
(5) Best Current Male sizes are 41, 36 and 34mm while Best Female sizes are 36, 34 and 32mm.
(6) The Datejust 41 / 2 are worth the purchase for daily wears as long as its in stainless steel or with white golds only. Two tones metals may restrict your daily practicalities and versatility. These are not an entry level watch as this distinctions goes to current and past OP's, past Air Kings and certain Precision watches. However, there are limits in accepting grey market or pre-owned prices to me since Datejust are not limited or special ROLEX productions. That distinctions goes to Skydwellers and Day-Dates and not necessarily Pearl Masters as it's a "Glorified" Datejust.

So funny how we build up a picture of someone we’ve never met before through only their voice. Always had you with dark drown hair in my head ;-) The great thing about the watch community though is no matter who you are, what you look like, how broad your bank balance is etc..if you enjoy watches that’s all that matters! Loving the Talisker 10! I’m a bit of a whisky nerd too. Highly recommend a bottle of Port Charlotte 10yo & Springbank 10yo. Two of the best core (internationally available) single malt Scotch’s out there. Incidentally, the Talisker 18 is an absolute must if you love the 10yo. 👍🏻

Great whiskey: About a decade ago I had a meeting with a handful of Diageo executives at their HQ. I asked one of their top product people what he considered the best Scotch whiskey from Diageo. He told me that all their top product people preferred Johnnie Walker Black...not some expensive single malt or JW Blue or JW Gold...nope.
Just the JW Black.
He said it was THE smoothest benchmark from which all others are measured.

Another thing is that when your spin your bezel under water it feels like the clicks are happening right in your ear so I assume a chime on the Jaeger lecoultre the chime would sound like it's right in your ear.

I love the titanium Yacthmaster but I just wish it came with more water resistance. Mainly because it has a diving bezel. With the IWC Ingenieur, you better off buying the one from year's ago. The 3 hander or the chronograph version

Field watches are the most boring catagory of watches. Maybe my 20 years running and gunning skews my opinion, but the most useful field watch is your favorite beater watch as long as it is slim (if we're eliminating all quartz). I don't prescribe to the mental gymnastics of heritage and hype telling me that a bland, boring, basic watch is something special when its really just an industry standard cash grab. Love your content, I just had to get this off my chest.

Funnily enough, MAMACOO's replicas are perfect for people who can actually afford a luxury watch. Because in those social circles, it wouldn't matter and everybody would just assume it's real. You have a yacht and a beach house in Tuscany, of course that replica is real. There isn't a millionaire out there going around with a jeweller's loupe to scrutinize their acquaintance's watch. They'll just go "Oh is that a Patek? Nice, I should really get my hands on one of those, they look great."
