A previous ultrasound showed the baby on video. you are behaving badly... heartless.
The only thing I can say in regard to her coldness, is that maybe we just don't understand what it's like to always be the bearer of such sad news. Maybe that's how she compartmentalizes to cope and continue to go to work each day. I have a special needs child and know many seemingly cold medical professionals and it really is the need to distance themselves so they aren't devastated every day of their lives.
to be honest it is better to not have too much emotion when breaking a bad news. You gotta remember it's not easy for them either because they have to break a lot of bad news to many people and it's kind of reasonable why the technician was like that.

Sometimes professionals can be insensitive. After 3 years of infertility I got pregnant through IVF last year but miscarried the baby at 6 weeks. When I went to the ER for excessive bleeding (that luckily stopped by itself later) that night, I was told "Oh, it's ok, this happens ALL THE TIME. Most women don't even know they're pregnant this early."
Yes, but this doesn't happen to ME all the time. I knew I was pregnant. To me it was really traumatic. To me it was my first and only pregnancy. To me it was sad and a horrible loss. It still affects me. I went through really tough treatments and 3 embryo transfers to have this one pregnancy to have it taken away from me. I went through 2 weeks of bleeding and pain. It wasn't ok. It's still not ok.

Imagine that person who might have received news like this, and be alone. I'm sorry, but I do not excuse her insensitivity! She was so matter of fact in her tone, and a bit dismissive as well! I would not be seen by her in the future, and ask for someone else to take care of me. No excuses for this when you are in this field of caring for human beings, and their health! I've had vet techs more caring than her when explaining the illness of my cat! Let's call it what it was! She was very insensitive, and she should receive or re-receive professional training with regard to her job. Can you teach empathy? That is the true question, as she was missing this!
I can't help noticing that the 5th Child tried to hug his mother even though he can't Speak yet ,it Shows love can be thought to Children by actions ,he noticed his older Siblings and tried to emulate them !

Simone Paterson, I worked in the medical field for thirteen years and now that I am disabled and have to see countless specialists, they have no heart or compassion, it's not able patient care anymore, it's all about I DON"T CARE! God bless.
They never do ...., when I lost my baby a few months ago they did the same thing. This was my first experience in pregnancy. A lot of them do get trained in sensitivity but just don’t care

It could have been a million different reasons he decided…but your heart will heal knowing that God decided. He gives you strength even when you don’t know it’s there. God bless your beauty family. While I do understand where you are coming from,can you imagine that specialist going through the same thing even in a day,a week,a month? Imagine going home after having to deliver that kind of news to mums? The children were there as well,maybe she didn't want to scare them.lets look at this from all perspectives without judgement.

Two years ago, my hubby and the two kids 13 and daughter 7 end up at the hospital for what supposed to be that 3rd baby...but instead, we were told she is not breathing well.
24 hours later, she was our beautiful still born baby "Angela"
6 pregnancies total, 1 son, 1 daughter, 1 stillborn and 3 miscarriages. I Know how it hurt but I am thankful and give it all to God! 🙏🏾

Ella, I am single without children. I ran across your family's RUclips channel after I had surgery where they removed both my ovaries so I will never be able to carry children of my own. I'm sharing this with you because I've thought how my life could have been different.
Please take the time to be sad over your loss because you deserve to. Also in the hardest of times, and I know you are and will be, greatful for the beautiful children you have and the child you now carry. For some reason we as human beings feel better and greatful when we compare our situations to others. I have no idea what kind of sorrow you feel but I know that you and your family are wonderful and have helped me deal with a very hard situation these last few weeks. Again thank you for sharing your TRUE lives. I'm sorry you are going through this struggle but know you are blessed in many ways that I envy everyday. We don't always know the full story of a patient, especial how news can impact them, nevertheless, it does not warrant treating people anyhow. I am in the USA, I have just recently stumbled onto 1 of your previous vlogs,,,,ended going back to the beginning and power crammed myself up to date. .praying for the pregnancy,, GOD'S Will,,,I had weight loss surgery this past march and I have horrible heartburn... Galvascon works good, but I switched to tums chewy bites,,,,so much better,,,but it looks like candy,so the kids you know,,, praying for you and yours,,,
I believe the Lord told me to wait until now to share my story with you guys. Three months ago My husband and I got pregnant with with our sixth child, but eleven weeks in I had a scan and was told there was no heartbeat😢. I had a missed miscarriage but my body was fighting to hold on to baby but baby did not make it😭. Now I am determined have another baby 😆 because with God all things are possible. We will meet our babies in heaven one day and enjoy them with our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ for eternity, just rest in this hope my beloved Grimewade family I love you all ❤️😙🤗🙏🏾

I'm sorry to hear the horrible news I know there is hope because you do have a baby to look forward to but your still allowed to grieve the one you lost.. i find the nurses aren't very sympathetic and can sometimes be downright horrible! When we lost our second baby one of the women there said downright disgusting thing in front of us and i couldn't believe it.. people are losing their children regardless of how many weeks they were we need more compassion is this life.. nothing will help the loss apart from time to heal.. I pray that this sad beginning will have a happy ending and hopefully with your platform you can raise awareness for the lack of human decency and kindness that can be easily given in time of need.. no words will help but your showing your strength, guidance and love in front of your children which very lovely to see even if its come from a bad situation.. my sympathy is with you and your family, much love xx

I stumbled across this family by accident. I really can't remember what led me to them, but they make you really understand what love is. This family is so genuine and beautiful. I think that they deserve their own television show. This is what love within a family is all about. Considering what the world is dealing with today with this beast called coronivirus, this family teaches us all that "This too shall pass". Trust God!

Whether it be that we have multiple children, yet they are barren...we have a working vehicle and a home, yet they have a shack and their own 2 feet..or maybe we have everything and feel lonely, wishing we had nothing but are surrounded with those who love us. So though this is an extremely difficult and heartbreaking time..you are so blessed and living the best life..because you are doing the best you can do. And that's all you can do. Hosanna felt it for her Mommy. I got all choked up. Your Mom came over as I expected but when your Dad called like that to comfort you, I lost it. You are truly blessed to have your sister, your children and your husband to love and comfort you in this time. Thank God there's one healthy baby growing. Prayers for your entire family Ella.
