My son was bullied by a girl just about this age. He would come home from school & cry. I decided to go speak with the teacher. Turns out the teacher told me the little bullying girl was very precocious and she had a crush on my son & it was her way of getting attention from him. It made sense to me because I knew the little girl and she was a nice kid but very precocious. Anyway the teacher spoke with her & it ended.

If I were you I would make sure nothing else happened at that sleep over. Your son usually has a happy demeanor like his sister and in this video he was very different. Please keep an eye on them. Not all adults can be trusted even at the school, as you know not all adults are good people. However, I also understand they have different personalities. Thank you for sharing your family with us.
Jun had an unpleasant experience at the overnight that affected his mood. Somehow get him to talk more about his experience. He will eventually tell you. Always pay close attention to your children when they return home from another person's house or an event that you did not attend with them.
Culturally to me, they are Korean, they are born in Korea, school in Korea, travel in Korea… learning everything about Korea. The mother lives in Korea and the father is raised in Korea. You know when you are young , you really don’t know about color all you know you are alive, happy, fun and enjoying life until someone says something about your hair, skin,height, or size. Hi, I just started watching your channel and I wanted to let you know that you’re super healthy and everything you’re doing is really great but you don’t have to restrict your diet that much and you don’t have to do cardio you need to do more weightlifting and you will achieve much more
Jun is sensitive and more shy. It can be hard for this type of change. Maybe he felt a little mad, because he didn't want to sleep at school. My son didn't like change and thought that somehow I should have the power to make it not happen. You know your children best Dianna. More harsh discipline did not work with my son, where possible, he liked to be a part of the decision and if he couldn't, I learned to explain why. It doesn't make you too lenient. My son did end up being diagnosed as beinf on the Autism Spectrum. I have also wondered if there may be micro aggressions and discrimination going on. I feel Jun would be sensitive to knowing he is half Korean, half black. Hugs to everyone, parenting is hard ❤❤❤

Dianna, your sweetness is becoming an handicap when discipling your children This is the age to firmly correct kids when they misbehave or disrespect you. Your son disrespected you throughout this video. If he isn't corrected now, with consequences you will not be able to do anything when he is older. Parents sometimes fall into the trap of wanting their children to "like" them and want to be their friends, however you need for them to respect you as their parents. Sometimes you have to be the bad guy and stand proud in it knowing that you are doing what is in the best interest of your child's future! This is just an observation of a older woman!
I totally agree with you...that is not the first time that I've noticed Jun doing that. I hope this does not lead to an impediment. I made a comment concerning this earlier. I have been watching them for years now. Maybe they felt that my comment was insensitive, but I've seen this happen with kids over and over down through the years.

We travel back and forth between Korea and the US. They get the best of both worlds. Our videos are often looked at by my family back at home as well. We share a sweet conversation about them all the time daily.
