I had BP for about 2-3 weeks I think back in 2006. In 2-3 months I was completely over it. I remembered not having a cold, but on a windy day, simply taking out the trash, the wind blew very hard in my face,: sort of a fluke. Next thing I knew, face was 'slipped'. But of course if you ever had it, you are always checking for alignment of your face. During the time which I had it, the greatest concern was my eyelid not closing. I covered my eye frequently during the day, but entirely throughout napping/sleep time. I didn't have any pain, as I recall. I did of course have a bit of drooling as well as a bit of struggle with eating and a slight altering of my speech at onset. Warm compresses along with steam to my face was exceptional in my recovery. Prayer!

I had bells palsy a few years ago. I thought it was the stress of studying that brought it on- I was doing my masters dissertation . I woke up one day and one half of my face had collapsed. I was drooling.. it wasn't a pretty sight. I had to be on steriods. I had a swollen face for a while but after a few months it reversed. So i believe Rue will be fine ❤

My niece contracted that when she was pregnant. She still has some remnants on her face but with help with medication and physical therapy you really can't tell. Prayers for a full recovery.

My heart just melts like butter when I see the love and affection these precious kids have for each other, and both parents are beautiful spiritually inside and out, thank God for them sharing with us. Rue is so full of energy and love for his older siblings, what I wouldn't give to spend the day with them.

Ah poor Ru. He will be great 👍 Bell’s palsy can be bought on by stress. The quicker it’s treated the more change of it getting better. I have permanent Bell’s palsy in the left side of my face. He will be great. Love your family

So glad you posted... poor buddy! I went through this 6 years ago (Research Ramsay Hunt Syndrome). As a speech pathologist, remember that his tongue and his chewing muscles are involved. Be careful with popcorn, grapes, meats, etc. Softer foods are much easier... It's scary to not have full control when chewing and swallowing. He looks AMAZING! Did he have pain with the hives? Love you! 💙 so rare in children

My mother had a case of Bell’s Palsy and we used Black seed oil, Prayer, physiotherapy and massage.... no drugs.

I'm so sad for you guys, it did make me tear,yes I'm very emotional when it comes to babies,hezzy is such an intelligent,blessed and innocent soul,I wish him a very quick recovery..he did what he does best in the blogs,steals the show..loved the bit where he finally admits its him.lol..God bless dad for spotting the symptoms, as a parent you have to be very watchful over your kids expressions,behaviours etc.

Praying for little Reu!! My goodness❤ my son went thru something when he was a little over 2. He started walking strangely. The dr said Guiallam Barre syndrome...but he is almost 23 years old and fine. No lasting affects at all. Love to your beautiful family!

I love the busy toddler stage. I'm so enjoying seeing him bounce off the walls...😂😅🤣 I still call my son a BBB 😪 he's still busy 17 he try and do it all. sports, football and track he loves most and music. I'm going to miss that kid 😪he's in his last year highschool and off to college, him love his mama, lol! You guys have a beautiful family. Hugs for you all. I see a lot of Harper and Halle she's a mixture of both her big sister's beautiful. I had the flu 2 years ago and couldn't do anything body ached constantly, fever, coughing all that stayed in bed with plenty of fluids and medicines it was rough and lasted almost 2 weeks.
