There are algorithms to hide big institutional engagement. Interactive Brokers is one of those brokers offering such algorithms. Wyckoff's VSA might still work sometimes on a macro scale, but it's almost 100 years old, and institutions and brokers have progressed in their techniques. Relying on volume patterns will have you miss out on big moves nowadays.

Disregard volume patterns. Simple - in a way. Randomness plays an increasingly bigger role in trading, unfortunately.

4: MSS, CHoCH or Shift in Order flow. (At retest level)

No,. Institutions can't hide their algorithmic moves...
Go look at chart in an uptrend for example...
Every time market retraces to certain level and then it resumes it's trend towards the trend direction.
When it resumes,
*It prints Imbalance on almost every single higher low*
So Mark higher lows in an uptrend and you will see these imbalance moves repeatedly on a starting point of a an impulse..
On 78-88% Fib Levels
Or where extreme Order Blocks are created...
Remember.
When giants move,. They leave footprint but for trained eyes...

What timeframe is fine to use this indicator
Volume can be helpful. But really is almost useless in Forex because you are not seeing market level volume. Only your broker. Definitely some need for it in exchange traded assets.

You don't need any volume indi on forex just look at the time. Either that or there's a high news impact coming in.

Volume in FOREX is something we the mortals dont get to see, so I don't use any volume indicators.

I don't think he was focusing on a full blown strategy, including risk management here; only trying to demonstrate some solid volume indicators. Each person will need to customize things to suit their own style and risk.

Idk how you are getting volume on Forex pairs. Ad far as I'm aware you can not track volume in forex. What am I missing???
If you're looking for volume in forex just look at the time. There's trading sessions for a reason.
