It wouldn't be easy, but I think it *can* be made. The problem is getting the right people for it. Competent producers, music composers who get the atmosphere right, art designers who bring that Golden Axe magic to life, a decent writer to make a pretty good story instead of something half-assed, someone creative to make the gameplay enjoyable with just a few new gimmicks... Talent to make that happen isn't lacking, they're out there! Problem is if Sega is willing to hire them AND if they are interested in working on Golden Axe. I think THOSE are the two main problems. *And big ones too, sadly.* 😔

Man! me and my brother used complete this game over and over after school as kids. We still play it now when he comes round even as grown men with kids!
Which characters did you guys play with the most? :D Mine was Gillius when I was a kid, he had a "viking helmet" and an axe instead of a sword. I just thought he was cooler! Then after I grew up, I began using Tyris when revisiting this game (best magic, but her range was a challenge) while my cousin woild use Gillius because he was the easiest for him. *(bloody axe still had the best range after all)* Ironically, Ax Battler was kinda forgotten by us. XD Guess the "Conan-like barbarian" stereotype he filled turned us off as "too mainstream" so we avoided him. *_(I'm so sorry, homie)_* 😔
You fight Death Adder Jr. in the the "Beginner's" mode. Basically it's the first three levels of the game with Death Adder Jr. being the "final" boss for that mode.
Yeah, I remember that from back when I was too scared to try anything beyond Easy Mode. _Kinda bummed he doesn't actually appear in Stage 3 during the other Modes. He was a neat little addition._ :/
Here, I'll actually answer your question instead of insulting you: In this game each block of health actually represents several units a piece. So a lot of weaker enemy attacks won't take off a full block.
