I keep hearing about how great illinois is, they have been to the final 4 one time since 1989 and now they are touted as a superstar. Didnt we beat them 88-80 last year when they were better than they are now, and we were average last year, not like this year we look great. This will be 27 years in a row going to the dance
Ummm last year illini was good, but this illini team is by far better, and that’s why they keep breaking records already this season and keeps walking into opponent territory and is absolutely killing teams at they OWN home and could possibly be doin it again this Sunday 😬💀
over the last 13, 11am games illini are 2-11. ive hated 11am games since march 2005 if you know you know . but i think the illini will buck the 11am losing trend sunday. 84 to 72
If Illinois is already 3 games behind MSU with a loss on Sunday, they'd have to play near perfect basketball and pray MSU falters down the stretch. I don't think its ridiculous at all. Almost 1/3 of the season is over.

This is 2025 , not in the past. Illinois is playing an away game so that gives big advantage to home team. We will see.
Both teams split last year. Playing at home is a massive advantage in college buckets.
