- Kenny Sansom played left back for 86 times and was club professional footballer who was most know playing for Crystal Palace & Arsenal. Due addiction issues with Alcohol and Gambling, Kenny's career quickly began to spiral out of control. Being the director of this project, gave me an experience I will never forget and always refer too as one of my proudest film projects.

One the greatest left full backs in the game. High energy, great tackker and passer...and what a great header he scored in a 0-2 win against Ipswich around April 1982 to halt their title bid. The away section was rammed and we went wild. Hope he has overcome is troubles and got his life sorted now. Come on Kenny!

A great left back for the Arsenal and England (and other clubs) and also a nice guy to talk to. Met him on the Highbury Legends tour and also in the Herbert Chapman Lounge at Highbury v Charlton. Wish him all the very best.

He was a reliable player for Crystal Palace Arsenal and England.
After after England failure in Euro 1988 he career took a downturn.

Tragic how Kenny has ended up. I saw the 'This Morning' Interview. Kenny was honest, but DEFEATED.
Unless, he immediately tackles his alcoholism HEAD ON, it will; in the not to distant future: Take his life. He basically admitted that in the interview, but basically said, (NOT Verbatim) 'That's the situation, I know it, but I don''t give a fuck.'
He came across as if death would be 'a relief.' Heartbreaking to witness. More heartbreaking for him obviously.💙💙💙
