Thanks for covering your setup. If I ever wanted to box again on more then just one pc, like on TLPs with truebox active, I would definitely look more deeply into your solutions. Thanks for posting.
To help not lose your mouse, set mouse tails and the pointer to large. Set your DPI/Speed to something fast but not too fast. If you do lose your mouse cursor, set a multiplicity hotkey to return the mouse to the Primary Computer center screen. Get a Hero 502X mouse with onboard programable keys, being able to turn on Numlock to run and jump, and do other controls for just one toon, just by using the mouse is a game changer
I recommend making your mouse pointer massive to avoid losing it. I have a similar setup and it really made a difference. I'm talking a massive chonker of a pointer. No way to lose it.
You can also enable the mouse echo feature (I feel like its a long lost windows feature at this point) , then if you hit ..control I think it is, it will pulse a sonar around the mouse. IIRC it still works in games too but I havnt used it in so many years i might be wrong about that.
6th gen and up will work yes. better to get 8th gen tho, if they decide to go up another. 9 boxes near aechother, wifi doens't work well cause they can (not will) interfere with eachother.
Do you have a link to the multiplicity software? Steam has it, but it says up to two computers and it's 20 bucks. I don't want to get hosed going to some crazy website and getting my computer bricked.
@vanman2099 I use input director as well for 7boxing and it actually solves the two problems mentioned in this video too. It has a much larger cursor visual effect when transitioning across monitors. It also lets you have setup multiple monitor on one computer and has awareness where each monitor related to other computer monitors so you could transition easily from your top monitor to other computers. Also there's hot keys to move cursor back to host pc if another pc locks up or you just need to find the cursor. I feel like multiplicity being a paid product *probably* also fixes all this somehow if you look deeper into config but if not input director might be the best choice for everyone!
I hate the moving mouse between screens, so I use hotkeys (G1-G6 keys on my corsair keyboard) to swap screens. WHen not trueboxing I use the same hotkeys in ISboxer, so muscle memory is pretty instant on changing. On using hotkey, mouse start roughly in centre of the selected computer.
This is something all the box haters never understood. 99% of us boxers are doing it because LFG is a joke, and we put a high value on our free time to be able to play a game like this that is VERY time consuming to make any progress which = enjoyment for most of us. LFG players mostly suck at the game, and conversation, sometimes you find a good one but its 1/6th the time at best lol. Most of us are boxing so we can play and progress when we have time, (So we don't waste our precious game time being LFG or stuck doing something we don't want to do) not so we can cheat. (Yes some do cheat, but even most of them do it so it doesn't impact or hurt anyone) The 1% of the people with box armies that are cheating and monopolizing spawns for gear to sell and pharming kronos are foreigners in 3rd world countries doing this for a job. You can tell the difference easily, a normal player boxing to respect their free time to play games will respond and engage in polite conversation with anyone that tries (I always will) once you get their attention, as they are quite busy and all. The ones that auto camp, or warp away from you, and won't speak are the foreigners doing this for a job that I mentioned before. I also believe some of these games like EQ are also working with these 3rd world foreigners as they cause people to purchase krono (or whatever game currency) which generates huge income for these game companies. Remember every single krono was purchased by someone at some time from the game maker, no matter who you got it from whenever you got it from another player. I believe some of these companies just have their relationship to these box armies on the way down low, or they are just 100 complicit if not because if they ban these guys (They NEVER do it's ALWAYS normal boxing players) they would lose a massive amount of game revenue to the point some of these old games like EQ would likely go out of business. Be informed and hate on those that deserve your hate, it's not us, we let people join us at times, and give loot away sometimes and sell it cheap sometimes, give up camps to other players sometimes, we are not the afk armies you are looking for....
Bro my friends and i need a couple more players were taking wed, thurs, fri off work.....man if you want some friends to game with reply here. We can chat lol....no need to do all this we almost have a full party where you can just play 1 toon and enjoy it XD
Why anyone would want to do this is beyond me. it becomes more like a job to box so many than a hobby to do for fun. But good for you. I hope you have fun. I’ll see you on teek
@@billytk1225 yeah. Imagine his electricity bill and the money he has to spend to keep those accounts running. Must be crazy. Some people are just built different I guess.
You can usually farm enough stuff with the box to get enough plat to get krono for the accounts if you play a few hours a day, it opens up the possibilities of things you can do by yourself, but otherwise I would probably mass buy black market krono at 9-10$ a pop to fund the accounts if I didn't farm, the electric isn't as bad as you'd think I only have one real gaming PC going the mini pcs are very low wattage.

Pretty dope setup. And gonna be playing a chanter for sure. Their utility, ability to solo and fun level are unmatched

Wifi on 9 devices this close together is likely to cause issues.
have a similar setup. i find using multiplicity if you lose your mouse- you can set hotkeys to have it appear at certain places.
Awesome advice

Input director is a good alternative to multiplicity... and free
Thank you, that is very helpful

nice setup

easiest way not to lose your mouse, increase the mouse pointer size in each windows pc. it seriously helps
That is an awesome set up great job !!!
Looks amazing but isnt that going to be hot? Where's your fan? Also need a coke fridge and some snacks :)
Definitely need to add these
I gave up and pressed F12 to deactivate mouse camera control on the boxes.
You're either single or have the coolest spouse on earth.
Wow my guy.
You have a major EQ addiction, on a budget.
See you there btw :) I run 18
Sweet I’d like to see that setup I ran mine out to 16 once but I had laptops spanning from the original setup
Haha so many hp elitedesks - love it
what guild?
You're the reason I can't get fbss
Haha, maybe the reason there’s more picks to get more fbss calls but it’s random loot so they’ll be tons available and cheap
Power leveling and selling accounts?
I don’t, some bigger boxers do that all day power level for Krono
This is something all the box haters never understood.

more than 2boxing is brain damage for me!.
Tell me you use MQ without telling me you use MQ :D
Lolol
Only 9 toons its obvious he`s going farm high end items to sell for real money.
I would probably go two groups or more for that need a lot of clerics

I had the exact same thought while watching... just why?
