TFXのサウンドを20年振りに思い出した、そしてまたハマった。CDどこいったかな‥。 -- I remember sounds of TFX the first time in 20 yrs..., and I'm be hooked on that again. I have to look for the my old CD of TFX.... Really thank you!!
God. This music just makes me soooo happy. Reminding me of the good old times when I was playing this with my friend. I remember we were always watching the missiles seeking their targets with the missile cameras. Awesome shit!
Still one of those games that defined my preferences back in the day. Along with Streets of Rage 2, still one of my favorite game soundtracks of all time. Thanks so much for posting!!
Great song, thanks for sharing it (it was such a great emotion to find this song)! Actually after finding your video I decided to rearrange this song and record it once again (you can find it in my videos)!
This was a fantastic game! So difficult to land though. It took me about 3 years of play before I was able to land the plane and I remember the feeling of sheer elation when I did. I only managed it once. :-)
@unihumi I rarely fired a missile without looking at it with the missile camera :D I used to use that TV guided bomb as a means to watch other bombs explode too. What a game!
THIS is KIACK ASS GOOD TOP GUN STY Soundtrack... I Played the game when i was about 14 Jears old with a 200MhZ Pentium MMX and a Joystick... F... Damn good Score! Thx for Sharing on RUclips!
YOU ARE THE MAN!!! Awesome, I used to love this music so much! I can't thank you enough for posting it!!! I used to listen with Soundblaster 16 original on my computer and my friend who introduced me to the game had an SB16 compatible I think.
Hats off for the comprehensive description. I used to play this for hours and hours. Got pretty good at dogfighting with the cannons and landing back on the carrier. The long rang bombing runs at night in the F-117 were always a nice change. Great screen caps. Also the box was huge! I used to keep my weed in there. When I sold it to gamestop for resale they were like whew! English only instruction manual is quite stinky eh? :)
When i was little i had a very obsessive mind. I would obsess over a new toy, a new computer game, a new song for weeks on end. I only witnessed my older cousins playing this game once or twice as i was about 6-8 years old or so, but it was enough, i had the songs stuck in my head forever (im 32 now haha), I would fall asleep with the TFX soundtrack playing over and over in my head. These days I'm a musician and an audiophile and I still lean back on these old childhood memories for inspiration and a reminder of what fuelled my creativity growing up. So glad i finally found these online!
Pentium Is? I had to play it on an 386 DX40 (and not even an Intel one at that).. At least I had an SB16 for these amazing tracks (yeah, just MIDI emulation, but still..).
Early 90s, sitting on the PC in the basement. Carefree days😢😢😢
It's just amazing how easily you can find anything on the Tube... I had this music in my head since 1996!!!!
It would have taken a Nuke to get this song out of my head, because 10+ years of not actually hearing the song failed to get it out of my head.
Still listen to this

This soundtrack made this game. Great Composer.
When I was a young pilot, this track rushed through my mind on those early morning flights at first light while the air was still and dense.

I don't know which is worse, an audiophile or pedophile.
@MadeInGermany81 Brilliant, I ran this on a 75Mhz Pentium too! It was pretty glorious :D Glad you are enjoying the uploads!
I was lagging on a Cyrix 486 barely hitting 66Mhz
Great song and great game!!!
The best game soundtrack ever... One of the best games ever (maybe the best)...
But this tune is the CD version, right?
I never understood that 'looks like a lizard!' comment in this game - what on earth where they on about?
@MadeInGermany81 and i used a "gravis ultrasound"! soundcard for the music and effects _D
"EJECT, EJECT" I used to love this game!
The moment where you just wanted to quit, double hit escape, and rage.
Time to get dos box up and running!
