when you have big movements and exchange rates， the problems that come up is when you have firms or banks that have borrowed in multiple currencies and have been sufficiently hedged themself， so these get affected but if you’ve hedged yourself i mean these are movements that you should be using

The great unsung heroes of this crisis have been EM central banks & govnts, whose currencies have lost no value to USD this year because they hiked rates fast and early, didnt take on extra dollar denominated debt and maximised commodity exports. They could teach slow FED, BoE and ECB a trick or two!!
