Uh oh… somebody has their feels hurt!!! So you think if somebody finds another vehicle with different mileage, condition, options, history, etc that we should all consider it the same vehicle? What an absurd premise when it comes to USED vehicles. NOW, when that option is offered, it’s usually in the context of a NEW vehicle - which Steve freely admitted may indeed be realistically the same in some cases. Such dullards commenting - but that’s why they’re RUclips wannabees in the it basement at 2am, and not being paid for their expertise like Steve. You should perhaps stick to the “popitas” and “lovely women” channels you subscribe to. Fantasize about them, not Steve.
1) where's the data supporting the assertion that most people lose one of their car keys? 2) this whole role play assumes the buyer did zero research on the other vehicles being considered. Almost every dealership posts the carfax or autocheck report online or if not have no problem providing one. It doesn't take a CIA operation to find the same info on the car that you provided on yours. Now if you really want to share important info, tell the potential buyer how much paid for the car at auction, or how much you got it for in a trade (we know that will never happen! lol).
@@SteveRichardsredzonestudents at 1:57 you 100% said "most people when they trade a car loss one" so you FOOL you might go back and listen to you nonsense FOOL!!!!
On the "New Car" price differential, your defense was VERY weak with a LOT of "spin". Save $42 for an oil change and $42 for a google review? Your still about $916 short. The rest is pure "spin" and you know it. The other dealers offer all the same "discount specials". "Only $10 a month?" Tell you what Steve, how about YOU kick in the $10 a month?
frank ludwin Steve is looking a little more fit these days...I think he's been going to 'spin' class and listening to his favorite band- the Spin Doctors.
If you can't do a pricing comparison on used cars, how the hell do you valuate a trade in? Usually you bend the truth, but in this case, it's *BULLSHIT*
Steve- I agree that used cars *are not* directly comparable to the extent that new cars are. However, I'm calling BS on your assertion to the 'customer' that you can't do a pricing comparison on used cars. Otherwise, how to you decide how much you can pay for a trade in? Or what you can pay for a car at auction? Or how much one of these should be listed at for sale on your lot? These prices obviously aren't arbitrarily pulled out of a hat- you use third-party software and current auction values to determine these numbers, which means comparisons are in fact made among used cars.
Steve - I'm not arguing that used vehicles are unique...it's exactly why I much prefer shopping new cars. My point is that used cars can obviously still be compared, albeit with less absolute reliability and certainty, because dealers compare them when evaluating trade ins and pricing used cars for sale on their lot.
I should also point out that the Best Value Guarantee 'benefit' of the Motor Trend Certified program obviously must require a comparison to be made among used vehicles. Taken from Motor Trend's website: *With MOTOR TREND Certified, you have up to 72 hours to exchange your vehicle. Plus, you’ll receive a refund for 100 percent of the difference if you happen to find a lower price elsewhere on the same car with the same benefits and options.* If used cars can't be compared, then how does this guarantee work?
"Did I tell the truth?" Provided all you assumptions about the car at the other dealers are correct, then yes you did. If even one of your several assumptions about the car is incorrect, then no, your didn't tell the truth. Do you even know with 100% certainty you are telling the truth? No you don't, you admit as much when you say "we don't know." Ultimately the answer is "maybe".
Irrational. He freely admits they are proposed assumptions - as you acknowledge he did. In fact, even in his proposal he then ASSUMES they are the same vehicle. 😂. What an idiot you are.

Great lesson on how to combat car salesperson bs
The skill level is off the charts!
Lets go through a thousand assumptions about the other car so i can justify screwing you out of 1000 dollars 🤣🤣🤣
Which is precisely why their “refund if you find same car cheaper” It will NEVER be same car….such bullshit

1) Sort of anecdotal, but many of the used cars I looked at only had a single key. So that's question #1 to ask when looking at a used car.

Trim levels matter too. Rust, must have pre purchase inspection before ever signing a deal on a used car. No exceptions.
