What I always love about sentinels is how diverse they can be with how they defend a site. They got heals, turrets, cameras, and even a sniper rifle. Controllers always have smokes, initiators(expect sova) always has flashes and duelists are always insta-locking.
One thing I really love about the character design in Valorant is they try to have abilities that help encourage and reinforce good habits in tactical FPS. Specifically, the ultimate encourages people playing against it to play together.
In my oppinion, Deadlock is absolutely the most unique agent so far, i can already imagine that she requires a lot of mechanic to master her. And from design wise she looks badass and fitting for her personality.
When writing this comment i also initially think that gekko is one of the most unique agent in the game. But what made me think that deadlock dethrones gekko is because her mechanic is like none other, she has a sound queue detector, a see through barrier and an ult that can transform enemies into a tornado.
The ability set looks great! Its refreshing to see a sentinel with abilities that don't have to be planted before being used, it makes it much more useful in attack rounds
Her abilities look so cool! I think they’re very interesting, and as someone whose main agents are sova and cypher, I will definitely see what kinds of things I can cook up.
A new agent will always bring excitement by virtue of being new, but it is so gratifying when they look/sound as good, and feel as unique in their abilities as Deadlock. Also, the name is so cool.
I'm new to Valorant this year and I grow didn't play much any Tactical Shooter games before but utilizing the abilities and ult of Deadlock as my first Agent choice makes me love to play the game and practicing to learn more.💯💯💯
she's good with any character with damaging utility, can use the net on bomb tap along with molly/made/shock. with good wall/net lineups she can trap people into sova, brim, or kj ult. She can even have a lineup to stop defenders from rotating off the site when pushing with a kayo/phoenix ult. She seems like she will be a poor pick without strong team play and a strong pick with team play. Her wall can delay attackers pushing from multiple angles at once to isolate fights, or even block people from retaking certain parts of sites, they will have to be in LoS to break the wall and can just be shot.
Her abilities are pretty op, she's going to change the esports scene like completely, you could already see, you can use some insane combo with other agents util
A pre set up stun based on noise is really cool. Amazing late round/last man on site piece of utility and can even be set up in open areas where stuns are usually less effective.

For Main-Sentinels this is a beautiful day. I love this! I usually play Killjoy, Viper (Controller... but you know), Cypher and Sage - and now finally there is a new Sentinel! :) She looks amazing.
The blocking movement ability is so unique! It’s like a sage wall and a smoke. Can’t wait to use that ult as well! Also the new loading background is so pretty
Same to in extent i don't like playing sentinels besides Cypher (say waht you want i love cypher) but she also looks hella cool might be my 3rd main if i can get gud with her
After the wait, she's finally here! We may see a potential return of a sentinel comp meta? (Her utility seems aggressive, similar to Chamber) Either way, the first month of her release is going to be so toxic, and in a way, I love it! Let me know what comp you guys think will match with her!

I have no idea if this comment gets popular or not, but a cool concept for an agent would be time, sentinel. like for his special ability he can place like a one time teleport for him or his t8 and they will instant tp to the other tp, and maybe his ult can add time, so that maybe they can have enough time to defuse. those are just some ideas, plz spread this around, I hope it comes true

ULTIMATE: A Yoru-like ghost dash that increases speed for the character and gives a support effect to nearby allies.
0:17 to 0:22 felt like I was playing Rainbow Six Siege. Everything from the throwing the shield to throwing the item on the wall to throwing the stun felt very siege-like or is that just me?
Deadlocks moves seem to be the following C Ability = The Net that appears to not let any caught move for an amount of time Q Ability = Sound Alarm which is either set off like a Cypher trap or manually triggered like a Kj Molly E/Signature Ability = 4 Way Transparent Wall that can be shot through but not able to walk through with either 150 - 200 health at the intersection of all holowalls. Also it's possible you can break just one segment of the wall by breaking the blue orb at the end of the desired walled. Ultimate Ability = Looks like a kamamahamaha that bounces off atleast one wall (maybe you can change it like sova dart??) when caught in it makes you turn into a bayblade, seemingly not able to see anything when hit.
i can sense some references here from the movie annihilation, her ultimate is called annihilation and her cinematic where theres a monster bear chasing them down like its a horror movie.

The throwing net is basically buffed up version of fade seize ability....The other abilities are quite unique though

Oh Wow, that ultimate move is a magnetic pull ability, that's new. Blocking, revealing and catching enemies, that's interesting to play against.
