- True is known for their robust commercial refrigerators found in supermarkets and restaurant kitchens but they also make units for your home.
In this video you will learn about the different types of True pro style refrigerators, their best features, some problems, and a comparison to their main rivals from Sub-Zero, Thermador, Gaggenau, JennAir and Miele.
They have two main types of refrigerator units you can buy: columns and pro style built-in. Both can be customized with your choice of color, door style, and hardware.

You do the best reviews on YT. Thanks for your great information.
Wow, thank you!
You guys do a really good job.
That's really great to hear!
I live in area that has very hard water, so not having the water an ice maker is not a big deal. I have already been considering an under-counter ice maker anyway.
Great video. How does Dacor stack up to the competition? Could you do a video on their refrigerators?
I could, but we dont sell them....
Why do commercial Freezers and Refrigerators void the warranty if you use them in your home or garage? It seams like the commercial ones would last longer in a residential setting as the use would be much much less.
Simply because they are designed/built/meant to be in commercial spaces. The energy, safety, parts, and size requirements are completely different. On top of that many commercial certified servicers may not be covered to work on commercial units in residential settings.
@@YaleAppliance1 I think you hit it with the last part of your comment. They cannot support them as the servicers are not that same as residential. Unless someone can explain the engineering/technical reason, such as airflow or heat sensitive parts or something else I don't see the specs that would make it not run right. Commercial varieties of spaces can be really cold or really hot and almost all of the I have seen have their compressors blocked on all 3 side because of space limitations. So from a practical point of view if you want a shelved freezer or refrigerator in your garage you just have to be willing to not have a warranty or you seriously overpay for a beautiful residential piece that you stick in your garage right next to your mower and generator. Hey thanks for responding to my Question
HAVE YOU SEEN TRAULSEN in your neck of the woods ? I saw that went after the home market, they were very popular in SUPERMARKETS, THEY used to be very popular in SUPERMARKETS, they used to be in COLLEGE POINT NY, now in TEXAS, but have no idea what their units look like inside now ? 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
We do not sell commercial appliances. Only residential. So we're not familiar with the commercial side of refrigeration.
Loved that Traulson...we sold it 25 years ago..great looking but it doesn’t meet energy efficiency mandates
I would really love one in my London Uk home
so would I
@@YaleAppliance1 is there any way to have it shipped to London
@@Vorgzs Buy one from a dealer in the US and have the shipping arranged with them
True is more expensive than subzero pro!!!! at same size. i do not get that!!
Do True refrigerators remove ethylene gas like subzero fridges?
True does not use an ethylene scrubber like Sub-Zero.
You don’t mention energy efficiency or Energy Star ratings for these units. Are they comparable to SubZero?
I’m also curious you fail to mention Liebherr, one of largest refrigeration companies globally. Is this just lack of familiarity or some other reason you could share? The Liebherr Monolith columns are substantially better efficiency, per Energy Star ratings, than SubZero and they are supposedly the quietest refrigerators made.
Thanks for informative vid👍
We don't mention energy efficiency because at this point pretty much any fridge you can buy is considered efficient.
Energy standards are mandated by the government. I like Liebherr, but they are integrated with less cubic footage. Like the rest of that category, they use less energy
Michael M, I am aware that they exist, whom sells them, & whom will service it down the road ? I would sooner buy a LIEBHURR CRANE , notice you NEVER SEE ANK KRUPS anything ? Because of the WW II CONNECTION , IN GERMANY ! 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Is it made in the USA?
St Louis, Misssouri
