I made a black and red R2 unit a little more than a year ago when I visited Galaxy’s Edge. One of the funnest experiences I have ever had, and one of the best parts of going to Disney world. It’s fun playing with the droid and way better than any RC car. If I ever go back and get the opportunity to make another one I think I will make a BB unit.
If you already went and then you go back to the same place in Disneyland and you are you allowed to go to second robot or they just recognize you and you’re not allowed to

Why would you do that? You can’t even use the droid in the shop. If you want to mess with the controls, some Cast Members have droids that you can ask to try.
I baught a kit to build a r2d2 for my ex for his birthday, it cost me over $300AUD. As of today he and I have been broken up for a year and that droid still hasn't been opened, 4 years and $300+ down the drain
For $120 you better be able to take them home. I remember they used to be $100 then went up like everything else. I didn’t get a chance to build a droid when I went this year but bought a few off this lady on OfferUp for $50 each. I honestly don’t think there worth the $120 price tag but if you can get it for less than $80 it’s a great deal. I would rather use part of the money to do Savi workshop and build a saber.
I honestly feel like the joy is temporary I've had mine since starwars land came out and there honestly pretty bad especially for what I'm pretty sure is 100$

Not really, just like the lightsabers payment is required to do the experience and to actually make the reservation you need to have a card on file
