I had no idea all that had gone on with Moriarty. Stone *was* a great ADA, but of course , Jack is the *GOAT.* I never liked Greevey. Lennie and Mike remain undefeated in my mind as the greatest tv cop duo , ever. #RIPJerryOrbach
Lennie and Mike...but I'd honestly say Goren and Eames are just a bit better. But love rewatching Seasons 1 - 5 of Law & Order a little more than the other seasons of Law & Order (original).
@@JoybuzzerX I can see that. Goren was *so* psychologically complicated, and next-level-smart. Eames was written so well , none of this "OOH!! Superhero strong woman solves every problem with her fists!" type thing. So yeah I can get behind that!
Whilst he was not killed on the show, technically, in a way he was. Many years later during an episode of SVU, McCoy is giving the eulogy at his funeral. I think he and Briscoe were the only regular L&O characters whose deaths have been mentioned but not depicted on-screen.
What a shame about Grievy. I thought the actor had really shown some commitment to the craft to get killed in the first episode; no end of season cliff-hanger. It was such a shock to see that happen. Which then led to Mike's hatred but ultimately making the moral decision; then the rejection but eventual development of his friendship with Lenny (who was considered a bad apple whom no precinct wanted). Instead, we find out the actor got a job on the other side of the country and was surprised he didn't like the commute - BODY DOUBLE ?!! "...controversial behavior..." nice way to say alcoholic who became unreliable.
Early on, the series creator wanted the show to be "actor proof"; not depending on any particular actor for its success.
so the lady who oversaw Ruby Ridge and Waco complained about a TV show being offensively violent?
Ben Stone is an iconic prosecutor.
Easily the greatest character the series ever had.
I love him! Always re-watching his episodes ❤
Janet Renno should never have been anywhere near this show
The death of Anne Parisse really shocked me on Law And Order.

Stone wasn’t killed - he resigned.

Jill Hennessy left Law & Order for being a crime drama and went onto Crossing Jordan...a crime drama. :p
Mention the 1950s tv show Dragnet and show the movie poster from the 80s (or was it 90s).
1987 I thought the same thing! Stupid mistake!
5:32 that’s cool that when she wanted to leave for greener pastures, she chose her exit 😂
Why did you feel the need to put that crazy clickbait thumbnail photo? does that seem right to you?
Clickbait thumbnail. Booo.

George was the epitome of a detective
I hated Hennesy's character.
Jill went on to bigger and better roles.
I love Jill
Jill Hennessy is and will be one of the most beautiful women to have ever graced this planet. She is absolutely stunning and I’m happy she moved on!
Felt the same about Annie
Now do SVU...
Claire was my favorite ADA in the series.
