I'm old, maybe older than anyone watching or commenting, listening to punk alt music whole life, when you've seen them come and go and back round again, it's great to see and hear this band, Julie thank you , thanks to video creator and those who helped and many blessings , when you think music has dulled and incapable of capturing your soul, a band like this appears and life is tolerable for a minute
62 here. Great energy, songwriting and performance. A band with genuine personality rather than the plastic uniformity of 'popular music'. Hope they achieve everything they want to.
@@JohnPalmer1962 let our dialog be proof that this band appeals to a wide audience crossing age and or generational gaps if you will, thank you to those that have commented on this and especially thanks to Julie for creating music that is keeping us “geezers” looking forward with confidence that the groundwork we helped build will keep bands pushing creativity forward and breaking boundaries and stereotypes thru their artistic expression, clearly can’t say enough about the joy Julie brings me so now gonna stfu already, many blessings
@@eversongabriel7099 yeah there have been plenty of other good bands in the meantime, these guys just sound like if Sonic Youth and mbv had a love child. I'd honestly rather listen to Asobi Seksu anyday. But of course, I'm not the purist that y'all probably are and I don't try to strictly separate dream pop from shoegaze.
I saw who I'm assuming was you there with a big ass camcorder and I knew there'd be some awesome video coming. Luck had it that this just so happened to pop into my recommended! Great work!

@@milkyherbs634 thank you! I just layered the same video 3 times over, and to get the color, I messed with some lumetri curves and some different blend modes that Adobe premiere provides
I edit with Adobe premiere pro, which makes it really easy to layer videos. most of the effects in this video are just layers interacting with each other. For this part there’s at least 5 different layers. I shrunk each layer down and put them together in a way that made me happy. Premiere also has a lot you can do for color manipulation. I blasted the colors so it could be super bright and grainy. Hope this helps!

If you are a shoegaze fan from the 90s this is the band you have been waiting for.
Nah, if you're saying there was no good shoegaze band until now, i completely disagree. Ringo Deathstarr already exists, man. They are brilliant.

This is mixed between shoegaze, grunge, noise
@@eversongabriel7099 and whirr
This is heavier than shoegaze. It sounds like 90s underground rock.
Every band deserves a musician as amazing and proficient as this drummer
