A mechanically refurbished example of the Alvis Sabre Light Tank, a ‘hybrid’ vehicle in the Combat Vehicle Reconnaissance (Tracked), or CVR(T) class of vehicles.
Power comes from a 4.2-litre Jaguar J60 engine, coupled to the seven-speed David Brown TN15D transmission with seven forward gears, seven reverse gears, and which allows for 360-degree rotation on the tank’s axis.
