the genre is 'Miami Bass' which is more early to mid 90s as oppose to 80s but yeah its till a very retro vibe.. give 'ghost town djs- my boo' a listen to in your own time .. thats probably the most popular 'miami bass' tune.

i prefer it to bubblegum but then i have ALWAYS been way more into their club sounding tracks particulary the UK Garage ones... most of their earlier rnb stuff doesnt even make my playlists though i do still enjoy those songs as well.. i like bubblegum more than any songs on their 1st ep though but its always the club sound that i am biased for when it comes to newjeans... 'right now' is also miami bass and beleive it or not it actually sounds better than this... and i love this. it might go 3rd or fourth favourite after 'new jeans' 'cool with you' and 'supershy' ... yeah then 'how sweet' than 'eta' makes my top 5 :)
