I could be wrong, which I hope I am, but at 1:29 he doesn't hit his sticks on the toms yet the sound is given off as though he did. I'm still kinda new so can you explain this? Is he drumming equivalent to lip syncing ?
Your right neither were played I think its just the song were they when it was recording the guy who does play drums hit the tom he I think he missed and then just the song had the tom played

I am pretty sure the tom sound is the bass being played and he almost played where the song was transitioning. Cheers
