What a band! I liked their music while at university but kind of forgot about them. Then they came to South Africa in I think 2018 and I got to see them live. Their performing was fantastic and they spoke quite a bit about their working class roots and family. It felt very matured and authentic but the music still rocked to be honest Ed Kowalczyk made me feel a bit uneasy way back, watching the video of I Alone, it sounded great but he looked like a madman, and the snake and everything. Now I Alone is my fave song of theirs. Lakini’s Juice is also crazy good and his cover of Johnny Cash’ I walk the line is sublime
The Beauty Of Gray, I Alone, Turn My Head, Selling The Drama, All Over You, Heaven, just a few of their incredible songs ❤️. And this Masterpieces of course.
@@elicameron6854 Yes!! I love both Ed's solo albums Grace is absolutely beautiful ❤️ from his solo ALIVE album. I love all the songs on "" The Flood and The Mercy album too. I bought the Vinyl even tho I don't have a record player . ( I have a huge CD collection). I'm so happy you are a great fan🤣
I am absolutely obsessed with LIVE❤️. Ed Kowalczyk is incredible ❤️ This song is a Masterpiece. OVERCOME, LIGHTNING CRASHES, The Dolphins Cry. So many phenomenal songs❤️
Ed is very spiritual ❤️. His Lyrics are poetic. His song OVERCOME became associated with the September 11 attack on the US. Proceeds from the sale of the single were donated to benefit the victims of the attack.❤️
Live are one of my favorites, the music is incredible & eds voice is insanely awesome 🤘🤘 I was fortunate enough to see them when this came out, Ed's voice is so unique & awesome.Would be awesome to see reactions to more live 🤘🎶🎸🤘🎶🎸
@@Jacques.Smith_ I'm so happy for you. That you got to see their concert. The last time I saw them was September 2019 in Chicago. It was the 25 th. Anniversary of Throwing Cooper album. Do you have a favorite album.?? I love them all ❤️. So happy you are a great fan.
@@sharonscurti8024 yeah I also like seether..I've seen them back in 2018 they came to south africa.ive been a fan of seether since 2002..are they big in America
When you said "a dream within a dream" it reminds me of The Daysleepers song "Dream Within A Dreamworld" - it's a beautifully captivating shoegaze group and the song is just...wow. I know you don't take requests here, and so, I will clear some space so that I can install Discord🙃
Live is one of my favorite 90's band you should definitely check out Lightning Crashes and All Over You. 💖 ruclips.net/video/xsJ4O-nSveg/видео.html ruclips.net/video/GBorigq5eL8/видео.html
Great reaction! I love how you delve into the actual meaning of the songs you react to- both musical and lyrical. Live is a favorite of mine. I really love two bands that are strong influences on their sound/lyrics (REM and U2), so it doesn't shock me that I love them. Although Throwing Copper is their best known album, The Distance to Here is my favorite. I strongly recommend The Distance, Dance With You, and They Stood up for Love from it.
I have a feeling that you'd like all of Live's music. There are very few that I don't find as a banger. They're just hard to recommend to anyone because... let's face it, tell someone to google "Live" and the band is not the first result.
Great song but even a greater message from you at the 6 minute mark. The media and crooked politicians has really divided us and made us hate each other. Be a role model and be kind to your political opponent or whatever the subject it is. Offer him/her the benefit of the doubt and actually listen. Try and you will see that we are more similar than they want us to think. Turn your attention to the small rich elite instead(especially now) and realize that we are being used as pawns in so many ways and for so many different causes.
if it helps with how to pronounce the band name... Live rhymes with Give, and Five rhymes with Live, but Live doesn't rhyme with Live and Give doesn't rhyme with Five. Also the band name rhymes with Five.
