- Narrated by I.P. Freely. Before watching I want to remind you all to please just LEAVE ROBERT DENBY ALONE!! Now that we have that out of the way, I also thought I should inform those somewhat new to MST3K and/or those not familiar with this episode that it is not an actual movie but a show that went by the name of 'Gemini Man' that came out in the mid 70's. The show had 11 or 12 episodes and half of them weren't even aired.
The glasses cleaning scene always cracks me up. 😂
Working in a grocery store, I often used to say "let's go to the turkey database"
That is litteraly the greatest thing I've ever heard.
I wanted to watch but I was too busy cleaning my glasses.
Anynom You better get those patent papers finished
Tee hee, Im getting glasses finally and I can't wait to clean them. 😅 If someone says something important to me this is what I'll say "I'm too busy cleaning my glasses." That will be so much fun!
Edit: I got them and I love making this reference to my friends 🥰😊
Lucky guy, he’s about to find out I’m Ben Murphy.
The script for Riding with Death was reworked and eventually became the basis for Cars 2.
I can believe that. Why wouldn't it become an even WORSE movie?!?
This cracks me up every time i watch this!!! :)
"Peter Fonda is Richard Petty in "The Marcel Marceau Story".
Leave Robert Denby alone!
Because of this episode I call windshield washer fluid "Smurf urine"
Vote Denby (paid for and left alone by the Elusive Council for a less harassed Robert Denby).
The network took a few ~30min tv episodes and glued them together to make an 80-minute movie. Then you took what those turkeys did and whittled back down to about 30 min. Sweeeeeeet!
btw, thanks for uploading your shortened versions. It's a great way to re-visit great episodes
Your appreciation is much appreciated. And as #30 is likely on it's way in the near future you can also count on another 'best of' of the last ten episodes on the playlist.
You like Robert Denby?
@@greedyd5524 I like him in spite of the fact that he's not me.
William Sylvester is in heaven now, still cleaning his glasses.
Peter Fonda is Richard Petty in the Marcel Marceau story
I love that one.
I had to know how far it is from Torrance to Long Beach, California. As long as Ben Murphy averages ONE mph along the most direct route, he should be able to make the journey in the allotted 13 hours.
12:53 On top of that he’s a half hour behind schedule. Did Ben Murphy put the truck in neutral with the hope that downhill momentum will get them there? Maybe they are rolling backwards. What a turkey.
Ok everyone mellow out... He’s invisible but he’s still Ben Murphy
Did the doctor ever finish the patent papers?
Patent pending.
Smokey and the Bandit merged with the Six Million Dollar Man How did this not become a hit?
Were they Butterballs ? Opened up a can of worms on that one, and that guy is still cleaning his glasses.
"Gotta clean my glasses, they're still filthy!"
Ben Murphy, again?! He wasn't born in 1958. It was 1942. He's 80 now.
This episode makes me wanna throw myself on the ground!
🎶 Ain’t got no record….ain’t got no band…..but I got me a song about a truck drivin’ man…..Oym awn there……Oym awn there…..🚛🎶
"...do ya buy that?"
"...still with me?"
So odd that William Sylvester was in this chunk of lead after playing a significant character in “2001: A Space Odyssey,” one of the greatest movies ever made.
True, but a man's gotta eat, you turkey.
Good catch! Dr. Floyd!
"You can't eat gold medals" -Jesse Owens
He went from Gorgo and Devil Doll to 2001 to Riding with death
5:13 What he meant to say was,"For the love of God, please stop! You are making my ears bleed!" 7:56 He is working on papers in a helicopter without patent papers? Am I the only one that is confused? I really don't see this guy using a 'memory palace.' Especially since his formula doesn't even work. 9:24 Why is there a speaker in the back of a diesel truck's cargo hold? 10:29 Flashbacks to things he wasn't even awake for. 11:12 How do his clothes and watch turn invisible? 11:37 So he turns off the only advantage he has in this fight? Because... reasons? I suppose the whole movie can't be bad guys throwing themselves to the ground. 12:22 Be sure to look away from the four guys you are arresting while standing next to them. 12:26 Where did all these ropes come from? 12:51 Just ignore the sound of the helicopter's blades in the background. 20:15 Shooting at a gas tank will just put a hole in the gas tank. Without a flame, nothing will happen. 20:05 Isn't this the most convoluted plan to kill someone? 26:42 With all the things he could be doing as an invisible secret agent (sabotage, survivance, fugitive capture, information gathering, etc.), all he uses it for is to get in drunken, uneven, fist fights? 28:36 How many plotlines does this movie have? I'm still waiting for The Grim Reaper to show up. 32:24 She has telepathy, I guess? 34:28 This version of the movie 'Speed' sucks. 35:59 And thus the concept of 'Brokeback Mountain' was born.
Leonard, listen to me...
"NO!"
Every time I watch this episode I ask myself, “What the hell just happened to me?”
Yeah, that’s all I can say is, “What the hell happened to me?”
That's what happens when you actually like Robert Denby
@@furrybogard9724 🤣🤣🤣👍
@@FantasyfootballRedd13 You really did make the pants too long
Ben Murphy at his Ben Murphyist
WHOOHHOHOOOH! YAHOOO, *PBBBBBPHBBTHHHH!!*
Now I want you to jump up and down and go “AHHYUGUHUH!”
Butter balls?
Let's go to the turkey database
That first time I heard that ongoing turkey gag had me laughing so hard I was about to pee myself
"... and half of them weren't even aired."
After viewing this cinematic merde-pile, i can see why...
Hilarious episode great riffing good host segments in riding with death😊
‘I can fart up a storm!’😂
New England Journalists!
Is it wrong to know what he actually said? Which is funny too. "Over there where the jungle is." Went to a place where its definitely not a jungle. 😂
The 1 vote down was Dr.Hale
This was a TV series called Gemini Man. This must be the pilot? Hence the starring of Ben Murphy, hot off his forgotten success in Alias Smith And Jones.
It's two episodes smashed together in the editing room with some stock footage from a different movie sprinkled in the opening act. (also see: MST3K Master Ninja I and II)
@@control_the_pet_population Makes sense. Always a recipe for a great movie!
@@control_the_pet_population I was wondering why this movie seemed to have two completely different, dumb plotlines.
Pumping Buffalo?! ...🤣🤣😆
LOL @ 19:28
"Stand Clear..."
XD
I keep hearing "Edwin Denby", but maybe because there was a high school in Detroit named after that man who was SecNavy in Harding and Coolidge Administrations, and said school was my high school's main rival in sports.
"I'm gonna stink for three years!"
LOVE this fucking episode
29:13 “pumping buffalo???” 😂😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂
It’s Skeletor
“Castle Greyskull will be mine!”
was it your intention to make the runtimes for all of these matching numbers? 23:23? 33:33? 35:35?
..."Do you "buy" that?". 😂
What a turkey
But-
I have to clean my glasses
I could never call a dude “big daddy” 😂😂 No way ☠️
As a trucker, this movie is a comedy of errors from pretty the word go. The 70's was a lot of things, but this ain't it. These guys made an unwatchable movie "a real knee slapper!"
Well, that'd probably be their specialty. They can take any film, especially the worst and most obscure movies, and make them watchable, or take a completely watchable film, and somehow make it even more worth watching, because that's the magic of either MST3K/RiffTrax. And these guys are hilarious, and it doesn't matter who's on with them, they always make it hilarious to watch, so I'm even surprised that someone can even rank their "Funniest Episodes"; because every single episode is so funny that I'd have trouble even choosing a funniest episode, because all of their episodes are so great. Now, if you'll excuse me, I must clean my glasses, the turkeys are coming...
It's Abby, I'm late
...she's pregnant?
Everyone's voice in this movie is like irritating to hear, as if the audio mics put way too much clarity/treble in their voices.
Love you guys.
That denim shirt. 😂
This is a weird episode for me--the riffing is some of my favorite, but the movie itself is just so ineptly cobbled together from the cancelled TV show that it's hard to watch.
Was this the episode with Robert Reed and Tom T Hall??
Can _anyone_ tell me the significance of “Universal... except for you Ron”?
😬
You're as elusive as Robert Denby!
@6:04-6:06 she low key botched that stunt but she tried.
On your mudflaps buddy.
29:29 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Is that Murray from love boat?
10:30 👀👀😂😂😂😂
"Canadian Mounted Police"????!!!
...It says “NELL!”
Chitterlings, 😂😊😂🤣😂🤣😂
aWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO---- oh it's inappropriate.
