Can't tell what's in the past; and whats in the future. Especially the cars; and the laser glove thingy Carradine's character uses; in the future. I thought this was a rejected Robocop spinoff at first; honestly.
So the original was set in LA, but this one is set in Mobile, Alabama? And his wife is Marion, so is she supposed to be the reporter Marion he was protecting in the first movie? And he went from having a beat-up Jeep Cherokee to an even more beat up Ford Bronco? I guess this is the rare sequel with a lower budget than the first movie. It's a good thing we have the "action hero" from Deadly Prey and the executive production skills of David "Space Mutiny" Winters to guide us through.
Actually, MOST sequels have lower budgets than their original movies - at least, there was a whole era where this happened in film - because the producers could milk the known product with its existing hardware and plotlines, and hold out for maximum returns and minimal input.
i love how they make jokes about the glove being used to choke him in autoerotic asphyxiation just like the best of the worst episode of it hahaha I expected that from RLM, especially mike and rich Evans, but Rifftrax usually doesn't get that dark hahaha
