Tried a base rush, failed, sacrificed his standing to fight the pink boss alone and brought him to his knees, finished smugs, tried a hege rush, failed, base dropped to finish the last opponent and nuked him. It is a whole main character arc in a single hour. Sadly the victory came to rob us the pleasure of seeing Vernius' base destroyed, then the victory screen could appear to be absolute cinema.
Great game to all the players! Sorry that Ecaz could'nt finish up. I felt so bad for you when you moved against the resort and mistook the Lansrad loss warning for the non agro removal. When I saw you were accepting the warning I was like..... Noooooo.......!!!!!! Dune's a great game. Thanks for all your hard work.
Thanks to your guides I managed to get a few games against the AI. Lost as Atreides, had a scrappy win with Harkonnen but completely crushed it with Corrino. Lovely to see you play as them and learn a few other things from it!
Loved the game. You did seem a little off because of the slow authority but it was fun to watch the arty drone aggression and imperial base in the face. GG
Daevohk. I highly reccomend considering dropping fenrig for the general dude who gives military strength on truces. If you get an early truce your army will not lose any fight, you can bully your neighbor and defend insanely well as long as you have an ally, really strong for basedropping someone.
Bump... An evil Corrino is always better the second time you watch it. It's interesting to see how the game has changed over the past few months & game updates....
It honestly feels pretty bad when someone just stands in orbital strike and loses their whole army to it. Like, I'm sorry I wish I could take that back.
I think you need to drop the nuke right on top of the main base to get the extra damage done. It seems it didnt do the huge damage since you dropped it on the side (out of the small radius circle). So maybe nuking before going in might be the play? I dunno im kinda noob.
Couldnt you drop the second base right next to the smug base, and just shell him from i side your own bases defences? Then if you succeed, you'd have that sweet 3rd base drop.
I really wanted base #2 to be in some place economically helpful--like making nearby annexes cheaper, or buffing strong nearby regions with the base-adjacent bonuses. Thats why I was so hesitant on dropping it at the smugs because I couldn't get it near properly useful territory--ultimately I think the middle drop near Ecaz was the right choice as it allowed me to easily secure 2-3 good regions there. I should have probably dropped it sooner to get started on the red districts.
It can't be healthy if it's a mandatory pick. Even if they got rid of the extra crew slots on the harvester it would STILL be a mandatory pick. Then they recently reworked maintenance center effect to only affect villages with 4 same color slots, making double building further encouraged. That double building ability needs to be reworked into their tech tree, similar to how oppression for harks, and multi-building for atriedes. Maybe double building only for tiles adjacent to imperial base.
She is 100% mandatory, no doubt about it. Double buildings feels like an intrinsic Corrino trait, so they should probably just give it to them and make Irulan more interesting elsewhere.
I wonder if Gaius Mohiam will ever be chosen? I know Irulan and Hasimir are staples. But I was hoping for some new councilors to challenge them to spice things up. But, alas no dice. Zum Garon is almost worthless. Shocking since I thought they were trying to buff other councilors. And a question. Why are truces so much better for Corrino? I know get some extra stuff. But is it that big of a deal?
Gaius is very hard to pull off because it is situational, but the political counselor can be good if one focus on politics. Hasimir works in every scenario and Irulan is so staple that I think her boons as part of the faction traits. I cant imagine someone playing without her and the faction is balanced around her.
Outside of Irulan I think you can kinda make an argument for the others, but Hasimir is always useful while the others are very situational. The truces thing i think is a bit of a holdover from the previous patch where Corrino usually pulled more utility and resources out of truces than other people did.

I'm exhausted just reading about it.
1:00:40: No, you didn't get the execute on the champion. Champions are *immune* to execute.
MORE CORRINO!!!!
They're so good, I think they might be my second or third favorite right now.
Agree with the dude above, need more corrino games, also could you give us a list of your faction preferences, all factions 😁😁
I felt physical pain witnessing that ecaz garden/betrayal combo 💀
It wasn't supposed to be like this.😭😭
Does anyone else love Daevohks intros?

Hell ya brother!
Another thumbnail banger!!!

@@apoleonschneider I dont think the map gen did me any favors here, but we made the best of it.
the god damn EMPEROR !!!!
Emperor Corrino: Execute orbital bombardment
Emperor Palps: That's my bro!
Great game!
You have to manually activate Aramshams ability and then the saurdakar will slaughter everything
Thanks, I did'nt realize that.
Thank you I need to pay more attention to it. I'm a Wensicia fanboy so this may have been my first Arasham attempt.

Truce guy does sound crazy for hanging back in like a 2nd or 3rd place then just crushing whoever takes the lead.

I wish I didn't feel so dirty playing/watching Corrino! Such cool mechanics... but just so strong

Whoa its Paul Atriedies....
Thats the best christopher walkin I can do in text.
I got a fever. And the only prescription. Is more Orbital Strikes.
@@daevohk 🤣
More eevil Daevohk please. 😈
I think that might be the only kind I've got.

This calls for more nuke testing, in the name of science.
For science!
get well soon chap.
sardakarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!
did you purposefully talk like christopher walken a couple times during this vid or was it subconscious
Unconscious, but next time I'm definitely leaning into it
Why did you lose 200 standing when attacking the Ecaz Garden at 55:10. Thought it was 100.
He didnt remove his truce, so he broke that while attacking the Garden
Weren't they at peace when he attacked?

I thought the same the moment I saw the position of smugs base.

What are your thoughts on Irulan, do you think shes healthy or should be toned down/removed?

Break truces costs 50 influence. Against corr it costs 100.

Breh, sorry but your not the emperor if your not blasting its theme beats!
Fair! I'll crank up that soundtrack henceforth
