I can really relate. I grew up with my Lolo and Lola, and I'am a Lola's girl, my Lola also passed away when I was in 1st year high school and wasn't able to see my accomplishments in life. She missed my graduations and most especially my wedding. You're truly an inspiration of an independent woman, Ms Jen. ❤

I was living alone since I graduated college,2015, Nag work ko sa Davao in order to support my family,including my Mama (Lola nako). Lisod kaayo mag puyo nga ikaw ra isa, naay times nga homesick kaayo ka pero dili ka maka uli dayon due to work. Lisod sab pag mag sakit ka, ikaw ray mag palit-palit og tambal. Pait kaayo pero gin kaya para sa pamilya. During pandemic nag uli ko sa amoa and finally naka uban nasab nako akong Mamalola. She is now 86 years old and I love her so much that it hurts. Maong maka relate ko nimo Miss Jen kay pareha ta palangga nato atong family og Lola. Lahi ra jud basta sa Lola nag dako. We are so blessed kay naa tay Lola nga andam mo higugma nato kung talikdan tas kalibutan. My parents got separeted too when I wa still a baby maong si Mamalola nagpadako nako.😭 I know gimingaw ka sa imong Lola and every time mingawon ka niya please offer a prayer to our Lord Jesus Christ to comfort you. Even though i wasnt living alone.. my parents taught me how to deal with responsibilities so growing up being the eldest of 3. And knowing both my mom and dad are working i have to be their guardian It's really not easy because u have responsibities at school and at home so i have 2 responsibilities already at a young age so as you grow up more, responsibilities tends to add more as well, Now i realized it's so helpful you can do all things with your own hands. You can rambled up things with positive output.. Thanks to them!❤🥰

Buti nalang online class pa and haven't tried living alone yet. But, as a college student, I need to ready myself for this. I also grew up with my Lola and Lolo and they have taught me everything that I could use in my life once I become an adult. They are kinda strict but I understand that it's just their way to discipline me since I am their first grandchild. I appreciate the love and care that they're giving and showing me. I'm 23y/o and I'm inspired by you ate Jen to strive more. One of my goals is to live my life independently and be able to pay own bills also. Pero for now, I'm still a job seeker. A college graduate since 2019 pa, haha pero nga nga, no stable job still.
You are able to have your own space, work at your own pace, budget your sahod, do chores and errands, rest anytime or during lazy days, learn things on your own, makaya nimu tanan bisag di nimu kaya sauna... On the contrary, mingaw kaayu labi nag wala kay ma storya, masakit ka, need nimu mulihok coz no one's gonna do it for you-- living alone na gani ka, single pa jud ka paitaaaa haha pero laban ra ghapon... At the end of the day, it's all worth it. Di na ka mahadlok kung asa man gani ka dalhon sa imung kapalaran .... By the way, been living alone for years since ganahn lagi unta ko mag abroad, but pandemic came... So change plan lang sah 😊... Anyway, shoutout to these amazing women (lola, mama, and auntie) sa pag train nako... For you Jen, good job! walay dili makaya sa parehas natung mga Cebuana nga nanimpad uyy! 😊😊

I also grew up with my Lola and Lolo and they have taught me everything that I could use in my life once I become an adult. They are kinda strict but I understand that it's just their way to discipline me since I am their first grandchild. I appreciate the love and care that they're giving and showing me. I am always praying that may their lives be more longer and longer so that they could witness my achievements. I want them to see me wearing a flight attendant attire. You are able to have your own space, work at your own pace, budget your sahod, do chores and errands, rest anytime or during lazy days, learn things on your own, makaya nimu tanan bisag di nimu kaya sauna... On the contrary, mingaw kaayu labi nag wala kay ma storya, masakit ka, need nimu mulihok coz no one's gonna do it for you-- living alone na gani ka, single pa jud ka paitaaaa haha pero laban ra ghapon... At the end of the day, it's all worth it. Di na ka mahadlok kung asa man gani ka dalhon sa imung kapalaran .... By the way, been living alone for years since ganahn lagi unta ko mag abroad, but pandemic came... So change plan lang sah 😊...
