I have known Uttara as a kid. Never imagined she would turn out to be a beautiful singer
I am French. Strumm Spiritual's Hymns (especially by Uthara Unnikrishnan and her father) have become my favourite music since I discovered them on the internet two years ago. I listen to them almost every day. They give me peace, joy and love of God. Bless India, the cradle of Great Indo-European Civilisation that has spread throughout the world.

One can offer Krishna anything (butter & boiled sugar in this case), can show him fear (wild animals), show affection or any other reason to get his things done but at the end it's the all pervading and joyful Krishna who prevails. Like he did by getting permission from Yashoda Maa in this beautiful kriti.

Krishna, as a child want to venture in to forest to grace cows and calves, with all his friends. They all leave in the morning after sun raise carrying food from home except Krishna who loves to taste the food of his friends.
As yashodha, Krishna's adopted mother does not want to leave him even for fraction of second, she tells him that in forest, there will be wild animals which will attack suddenly and as a child, you cannot defend . As you love milk and butter, I will give you as much as you desire, but don't go to the forest.
If your father asks about your where about, as he has strictly told me to keep you safe with me, what will I tell him, Krishna says, tell father that I am playing with my friends and once you think of me, I will be before you.
These are the imaginations of the writer surrendering himself as yashodha and the Lord as his Son. This is known as VATSALYAM.🙏
Why our school curriculum doesn't include such traditional songs by excluding songs like twinkle twinkle?

( pithamaha of carnatic music)
and the great saint poet thyagaraja.
@Arun Kannan oothukudi is a small village near kumbakonam.
There lived venkatasubbaier who was born in a tamil brahmin family who settled there many centuries before vijayanagar empire was established in karnataka. He was a great krishna bhakhtha and his songs were composed during great devotion towards sri krishna. A great exponent of carnatic music, wrote in telugu sanskrit but mostly in tamil.
The famous alaipayuthae kanna was by him.
You and western media can defame him for your own goals.
But fact is a fact.

technical and aethetic beauty of immortal tamil music. He did compose tamil songs on the lines of carnatic music (like bharathiar).

The actual name is Sastriya Sangitam. This is told by M. Bala murali Krishna also. So calling it Tamil Music is also wrong.
