If we’re talking about guilty pleasure games, I love the Mario and Luigi franchise, I love playing all the games and usually try and plate them every year
Something being a guilty pleasure means it's bad but you enjoy it anyway. The Mario and Luigi games are overall really good with only some issues, the main one being the large amount of tutorials, many of whom are pretty overbearing.
Why would you feel guilty? They are the Mario RPG games that people love. literally the only bad about them is Starlow.

One of the primary conflicts of one of the games happened because she kicked Bowser out of World council meeting that he had every right to be in and she didn't. She forces herself as the companion for several games of the series despite her having no reason to be there in the first place and there already being a perfectly fine companion for those games.
Regarding the Rocket Power Spongebob thing, the movie pilot for Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends aired a week apart from a CN dropped pilot movie called Party Wagon, which was made by the Hey Arnold staff… and only aired twice. Tbh I’m kinda glad Foster’s was the one that got picked up, but I feel like Party Wagon could’ve been a great stand-alone movie if they gave it a little more time

The Norwegian translation of The Saga of Darren Shan honestly feels like most of it was done with babblefish (pre-google translate). So many names are translated for some reason, righteous (as righteous part of something) was translated as a synonym of just (as in the one from justice). It's like Vietnamese crystal, with someone sitting with a dictionary in one hand and the other hand on the keyboard and had just a little more understanding of English.

A guilty pleasure game I play a lot is Star Fox: Adventures.
That's not a bad game. It was weird, but it wasn't a bad game. Arguably has the best Meteo track in the franchise.
"Final Fantasy XIV is quite the demanding mistress isn't she?" Yes. Yes she is.
I'm gonna be controversial with this take. But I personally think that ORAS is a better game than HGSS and my main reason for that is that HGSS are remakes of GSC, games that are heavily flawed when it comes to the main campaign, the level curve is still awful, wild pokemon are very low leveled, there's still next to no story (the Silver being the son of Giovanni is locked behind a limited time event). I loved the redesigns and the Crystal content, but guess what? ORAS also added that stuff in the form of the Delta Episode.
And here's another controversial take: I don't consider Emerald a definitive Hoenn experience since it removed some features and some aspects were forced in. Let's go over some of them
Emerald removed the story legendary fight in exchange for just one sidequest that gives you a cutscene and a "superboss" (You can use the Master Ball on a level 70 Rayquaza and trivialize the entire fight) that can break the rest of the game, which btw, is also in Ruby and Sapphire
Has a huge inbalance between Team Aqua and Magma, you fight Maxie 3 times while Archie you only fight him once. Yes the Magma hideout makes sense this time, but it's really convenient that Team Magma built their hideout right where Groudon is located, not to mention Groudon doesn't become a problem until Kyogre is released
Wallace being the champion makes less sense than Steven
Also, some aspects of Emerald did manage to end up in ORAS in the form of the Delta Episode, Like the evil team attack on the Mossdeep Space Station and team up fight with Steven, a Wallace champion fight and a cool cutscene with Rayquaza
As for the aspects that I didn't mention, like the Battle Frontier and the Tate and Liza and Juan fights. I'll just say this:
Yes, the Battle Frontier project was a slap in the face, but at the same time, outside of the tower (which is the same thing as the Mason) and the Factory, the rest facilities are just gimmicky locations that heavily rely on RNG even more so than the Tower
The Tate and Liza fights I don't have much argument there, as for Juan. Let's be real here, who actually cares about him?
So in conclussion, to me, while ORAS, Emerald and HGSS have their flaws. I have to say that ORAS is a better game than HGSS and are better than Emerald as an overall Hoenn experience. Thank you for reading this wall of text, now keep scrolling the comments or watch the video :)

I'm playing Brilliant Diamond while watching this vod and so far everything they complained about hasn't been an issue for me. Haven't found any bugs, audio hasn't been an issue for me, I didn't like DPP because of speed and this has fixed the issues, and they talk about running into the "same pokemon over and over" for Gen 5, when Sinnoh has that same issue with the Bidoofs and such for at least half the game. Not to knock their conversation, it's just funny the contrast
Their conversation (as well as their views on older Pokemon games) just felt clouded by very foggy nostalgia glasses imo.
Love how people complain about Joy-Con drift, yet I got drift on my Xbox One Bluetooth controller that I bought after the second Joy-Cons I got, only less 5 months after I got it! I've owned a Switch for about 2 years now, it feels like, and none of the controllers have yet to drift.
So this is just something that happens, people. Don't just say it's a Joy-Con thing.
I don’t think people say it’s a joy-con only thing (and if they do, they’re ignorant). Several GCN controllers can attest to that as can Miranium farmers in XCX who use the rubber band trick with the WiiU Gamepad or similar tricks. However, drift seems to be more rampant with joy-cons than anything, and it’s also the fact that Nintendo for a while refused to acknowledge that it was an issue.

Joy-Cons are just really prone to it. I've been spared after buying 3rd party joysticks for replacements.

My big thing with the remakes is that they did little to update it in certain aspects. I honestly think Litwick would’ve been a great addition to the Old Chateau. There’s also the loss of the Game Corner (thankfully not the music), simply because of age ratings. Also, they could’ve easily added the Pokémon you can get in Platinum, with the lines that had evolutions added in the original games, but instead you’re forced to nab the Elekid or Magby in the Underground. Same goes for a Snorunt (technically Glalie) and Swinub.
I also think ORAS is a better remake as it pairs well with the stuff introduced in XY, instead of some slight item and Pokémon tweaks
Being forced to catch it in the underground... An area that is available to you for a significant portion of the game. I don't understand how this is "bad".
The loss of the game corner sucks but at least character outfits got added in its place.
While it isn't a perfect game, I feel like anyone who wants to try sinnoh for the first time would not hate this game. It still feels like Sinnoh with some simple but neat changes. (Also the environmentd are very pretty, especially in battle). Love the post game battles too and how they have real care put into them.
That is why ORAS fell flat for me. It didn't feel like Hoenn, not the one I remember. It was more of a reimagining and I didn't really want that. It felt more like they needed somewhere to put all the stuff they didn't have time to put into XY.
I mean, with the Game Corner, it’s more because the UK has a law against any kind of fictional gambling in video games. Game Freak is legally incapable of selling their games in the PAL region, unless they remove the Game Corner, or put in something like Voltorb Flip from HGSS.
