I didn’t follow your video but I did watch all your video so many times to get a understanding on what to do. I downloaded TWRP for enchilade, Lineage OS 19.1 and Gapps Android 9 on my oneplus 6. I install TWRP, then Lineage 19.1 and Gapps and Gapps crash and my device boot to Lineage OS. I know you’re the only video that said to install Gapps before letting Lineage OS boot up. I can factory reset to a new Lineage OS and how to install Gapps before letting Lineage OS boot up again.
Thanks for explaining more about the issue. It looks like you are using Gapps 9, but you will need Gapps 12L to work with LineageOS 19.1. RIght now there is only a test version of opengapps 12L (Link in description). But you would need to install it before first boot.
Do you know of a ROM that prompts for an initial setup? Both with GApps and BitGapps, Google Setup is not starting. I need the initial setup to configure Android for use with Android For Work for our Endpoint Manager
I'm not sure about the initial setup. As far as I have read, custom roms don't generally work with Endpoint Manager. It might require the company to use a different MDM software unfortunately.

what's the point of installing Open GApps? I installed LineageOS to have a more customizeable phone (not have a ton of crap apps that I can't delete) and less Tracking from Google, does Open GApps simply allow to run certain Apps that require the Google crap without getting tracked too much?
You're right, gapps is unnecessary for the most part. The Open GApps and other gapps packages allow you to choose "how much" of the google stuff you want to be installed. Some people want some of the google apps while LineageOS still gives a "cleaner" Android experience. So, yes you can use some apps that require google bits with less of the other google apps installed. The bare minimum is microg which allows for push notifications without having to install play services.

The installation process is the same (reboot to recovery BEFORE first boot of lineage). To find the command prompt: press the Windows key/icon and search "cmd" , and it will show the command prompt app.

Based on the FAQ the apps themselves should update to the newest versions automatically from the play store " Dirty flashing gapps aren't really necessary! If your current setup is in working state, you have no reason to dirty flash. The apps will automatically update from Playstore. You can choose to flash a newer update when you are clean flashing your Rom". For clean flashing the instructions are also on this page: nikgapps.com/faqs
I have yet to try it myself with Orange Fox. Depending on the phone, you may have the option of doing the OTA without updating recovery. But typically, it will overwrite the recovery with lineage recovery. If you want to wait a bit, I can try it out for you.

Do you mean in the terminal or the device? the command is : adb sideload opengapps...zip the package name for gapps will be different depending on what you downloaded. Start typing "open" then press TAB to complete the file name.
Assuming you have the correct gapps package, if it doesn't work to: factory reset, reboot to recovery (don't boot lineage), sideload gapps, boot to lineages. Then try reflashing lineage clean, reboot to recovery, sideload gapps, boot lineage.
Oneplus 8t is an AB device, so I think it should work. However, I have not seen the opengapps package for Android 13. I'm sorry I cannot guarantee since I don't have the device myself.
I assume that the bootloader is unlocked otherwise it wouldn't boot lineage at all. error 21 is supposedly a signature error, but usually when flashing it should ask you if you accept it anyway. Reinstall and starting completely clean is work a try.
Yes my bootloader is unlocked, I was able to reinstall TWRP into B partition , then flash lineageos and not able to install gapps with error code 20. Then I found that lineageos remove the TWRP.

Sorry opengapps 12 isn't available anymore. There was a test version, but it never seemed to reach official release. However, the video still applies with the mindthegapps package. I recommend using Mindthegapps with LineageOS: ruclips.net/video/ZOYVmd2rSjs/видео.html

Which device do you have? 1) Try clearing cache from recovery mode. 2) See if it makes calls even if "no sim detected" 3) Did you do "copy partitions" before installing? 4) Try factor reset

It's normal for the first boot to take a while (5-10 mins), but any longer and it may need to be rebooted or reinstalled. Sometimes i can happen as a result of not clearing dalvik and cache, but it's hard to say. I hope that helps.

I'm glad that it sort of worked. "The primary reason which causes the error 70 while installing Gapps in TWRP is lesser space in the device system partition." So you could try getting the gapps "nano" or "pico" package first, and then install additional apps later.
