That’s obviously right :) but often locations want a „real“ Musician in addition to a DJ to heat up the audience. It makes a big difference if there is a guy behind a MacBook who press the play button - or if there is an entertaining musician. (With this I don’t want to talk the art of djing down!) So it makes sense for a DJ to have these tracks without a Saxophone. Normally the musician bring along these backingtracks. But you have to talk with the DJ if it fits in his set.

If the DJ is going to choose the tunes. eg Mr Sax o Beat surely he/She is going to have tracks with Sax already on them?
