You’ve inspired me to build things, I was 60 in January and have just built a lean to, fenced my whole garden and raised planters, I wouldn’t have dared before watching you

Your response to the question of garbage on your property was very respectful, but answered the question well. You’ve got to feel sorry for the previous owners. You wonder what happened in their early lives to take them where they ended up. Your new neighbours are lucky to have such a sensitive neighbour in you. By the way, thanks for the Q&A, it answered all my questions, really appreciated.

Anna, the time I spend with you enjoying your vlogs is so relaxing and peaceful. Your energy is very calm and chill and it soothes my anxiety. Your garden looks great and the seedlings you sprouted indoors have really grown. Your photography and music during the video are lovely! Thanks for sharing your life with us, your RUclips family. ❤️🇨🇦

I enjoyed seeing your creative garden work bordered by the wonderful black fence. Years ago when I first moved into my house I collected rocks everywhere for borders making curved winding beds in my very long skinny back yard for a private forest feel right in the middle of an historic neighborhood. It is a delightful layered landscape. At the very back end , I left it sunny to grow vegetables. It will be fun to see your plants grow and the chickens to arrive. I keep wondering how many and what kind you will decide to have for pets. I look forward to next time!!!!!!!

Hi from Florida, USA! Nice learning more about you😊 I think its fabulous that you are able to find what you need for reclaimed materials & put them to good use. I too enjoy that sort of thing. Your place is so interesting & eclectic. I'm sure the neighbors are happy to see all the improvements you have made❤

I went to Helsingborg when I was young, once in winter (didn't see so much snow in my entire life!) and once in summer; I remember a big medieval tower and the red city hall near the marina... It's a beautiful place I keep good memories of!

I really enjoyed today's video thank you 😊
Your garden is lovely and you have done so much work to it, it was lovely to see the before as comparison.
I used to be the diyer etc in our house (my partner is useless at it to be honest 😂) and used to enjoy it and did want to do much more sadly my health is such I can barely hold a pen some day's so those day's are gone but I then found channels like yours which has actually been amazing as on top of watching people do things like this I am learning so much every day.
Gardening is not my forte in fact for the poor plants sake I keep well away, I have killed so many I just didn't want to harm any more 😂 sad really as I do love the whole thing but I couldn't do it now anyway so a moot point I just enjoy the learning curves.
I tend not to ask questions more because I guess I think that your personal life is yours and if you want to share you will if not it's really none of my business 😊 I did enjoy the answers tho 😊

Around the tree, it would have have looked neat if you could have gotting all similar sized rocks and put them in a spiral surrounding it. Althought that is a bit more Irish in style. New additions to the yard look great. And thanks for telling us a bit more about you.

A crucial unanswered question - when are the chickens moving in?? :)
I love how you're trying to not use the car and live simply. Everyone around me had a car and is constantly flabbergasted that I manage without it, meanwhile I'm flabbergasted they take 1-2min drives instead of walking

Can confirm about dark colours. I've been an interior designer for 26+ years. I have black window frames so I see the view and not the frames. I will be painting all my interior perimeter walls black to keep the focus on the greenery outside.

My coop is black too, I stained it with the very watery woodtreating/protecting paint that I think you used on yours too. I too clamped the wire on the outside. At first I was regretting not to have stained it before the wire, but as I afterwards painted the wood and wire, by accident i touched the free wire with my black brush and the wire went completely invisible! ....
I ended up staining ALL the wire 😂🤷 it looks awesome, natural and clean.

Looking good, love the black fence, just beware of leaving any small gap in the joins on the chicken wire, as weasels, stoats, pine martens etc can get through the tiniest gap and they are born killers.

I live to garden and so I was very happy to see you out in yours. Absolutely loved the idea of placing all the rocks around the base of the tree ! Very cool. Now I want to do that around one of my trees near my garden. I also like the dark picket fence. Is it black or dark grey ? sometimes it's hard to tell. What a wonderful find to have a home with a beautiful creek passing by !

Hi Anna. I see you lay out cardboard in the garden, i have a little warning for that ,all things that are flat on the surface cardboard, plastic or wood will get you a huge problem with ANTS!! but you can try put bakingsoda over the surface first because you will bee crazy about Ants in different sizes and speces. iv done that misstake myself. i hadent an ant in a squer km around the house and buid some frames of timber and i put newspapers around the straberry plants and after a couple of weeks there was a miljon ants and the erth was full of eggs. so look out. and tip two try get your hands on a tree mulcher to cut wood to chips . its much better for compost. and you dont have to have halfrotten branches in the compostbinn. Mvh.KJ.
