I guess I wasn't overwhelmed by all the buttons, because I had previously owned Cosori's original model 6 qt. pressure cooker. This new model has some added features that are worth mentioning: a status bar across the top of the display, a truly nonstick pot, cord storage, an idiot-proof lid with a vent button that switches to closed as soon as the lid locks, and-arguably the best new feature-a SOUS VIDE SETTING! This appliance can do so much more than rice: curries, soups, yogurt, ribs, roasts, cheesecake, pasta, etc.
Hi. I watched your reviews on the cosori rice cooker and the cosori pressure cooker, but which one do you recommend, the cosori rice cooker or the cosori pressure cooker? Which do you think is more versatile for everyday use? I'm considering one or the other, I would mainly use it to make rice, but I like the extra options on the pressure cooker but I don't know if I would use them often. Nice reviews btw 👌
I have Cosori's original model 6 qt. pressure cooker and LOVE it!! Best of all, it has the stainless-steel insert instead of the nonstick, which I do not think they offer with the new models.
Thanks for sharing! we use the pressure cooker everyday lol. it's amazing what you can cook in that thing. then i just throw it into the dishwasher and call it a day.
Hello. I have the same expres cooker and want to ask a question. Is it normal for lid to be loosen and move left-right when closing it until the cooker gets built enough pressure?
You can do an instant release by moving the orange button, or you could let it sit, and it will do a natural release, slowly cooling down and releasing pressure on its own.
i think the pressure cooker made the rice a bit better. also it cooks more than rice. the regular rice cooker by cosori surprisingly took a long time to cook rice. almost an hour. i still use my trusted TIGER brand rice cooker lol.
This is the one that I have. This is my favorite pressure cooker, so far 😊
we still use ours too!

Great to hear!

I think I'd rather have the Stainless Insert. I was surprised to see that non-stick coated pot in this newer model.
Do you know how to do delayed release and natural release? It says you can do it in the manual but doesn’t say how!
Can I bake and make fries in this
Thanks for the break down man.
Any time!

yes, mine does the same thing. locks in and no longer "loosens" once pressure is built.
Does the sauté function get real hot quickly???
Hi. Yes it does if you put it on high
Rice came out perfect I didn’t realise I have to push the orange button for it to let out the pressure thought this was automatic
yes, we love ours. we cook rice, beans, soups, and all kinds of foods in it.

By your experience which is better? For Jasmine rice texture wise this one or the cosori rice cooker?

Nice video ! May I ask how much rice can be cooked at once using this pressure cooker?
i wouldn't know exactly how much but we use it to cook enough rice for 8 adults with a bunch still leftover.
Brilliant
