I just found out that when Tengen “disappears” in his dash he actually becomes invulnerable for that quick second and can go through any attack like a projectile from Enmu so I’m not sure how useful that would be but I just felt like pointing that out in case it would help anyone :)
Tengen's design was a surprise for sure. He looks very strong but doesn't look like an easy-win character. His speed and blockstun are going to be hard to deal with, but I'm sure the counter play will develop over time.
i find that tengen reminds me alot of Akaza, theiy both use big combos to deal alot of damage, fast but the primary difference between the two is that Akaza has range attacks,time stop and better damage, while Tengen is quit good at dealing alot of damage at once breaking guards like a knive cutting butter. his big problem is that without meter he can t do anything, and his optimal combos only deal 45% of damage so far. but the big adventage he has over akaza and any other chara for that matter, is that his Neutral game is clearly the best out of all characters, where everyone else needs to Dash to "get in" and start fighting, Tengen simply uses his specal move to get in and as specals are superio to neutral dash he will always end up hitting first and going for 45% meter damage right away, then do it again and its game. Basicaly Tengen is a "rush down fast" character, even more so then Akaza is, but with the added downside of being way less flexiable then akaza. its the hole Akuma mentality all over again: "Screw defense give me more ways to HURT Peopel" is Tengen uzuis Motto and of course finish the in a flashy way xd.
As someone who just got him I think his shield pressure is kinda bad, where you need to use both of your assists or all of your special moves, also, he has kinda laggy specials I think he is probably top of A tier.
If you’re using Nezuko and tengen you can do Nezuko light attack string into Heel bash into claws, and then as the the last strike of her claws hit dash with tengen and you’ll break the guard it takes like 10 seconds total
I think it's super cool how he pointed out the "noisy" moves, since that's the real point of his sound breathing: Make noisy moves to distract the opponent (that's also the reason of the fireworks effect).

Tengen fits my style of play so well, i still beat all the opponents i was beating before plus the ones i wasnt. Now im not put off when i see some characters my opponent is using. Now i only need to worry about people who are simply better than me, and there is no shame in loosing to someone who is better than you. At least the character my opponent is using doesnt factor into whether i win or loose anymore.

Tengen, gyutaro, and enmu are the most unbalanced and op charecters in game. Tengens moves don’t clash cancel with other moves especially his tilt he just overpowers and automatically deals enough to dmg to make u finishable with a ult. Enmu is op with slow attacks that track across feild and a grab that reaches further then anyone else. Gyu got circular slashes that linger and can spawn a secondary attack
After only playing him for about 30 minutes, he will definitely be one of my top characters. I agree with the video, he has a few shortcomings, but I am fine with that. He is fun and I don't really want another damn akaza
The fact that he is mid tier-average character allows players to feel good and get fun while both playing with him and against him. I'm totally in this. Not like stupid Enmu where even pros prefer to avoid mirror matches.
Bro Tengen is the king of resets almost Enmu tier!!! I've been playing ranked with him and keep on accidentally resetting people and doing around 70% damage each time🤣! Haven't lost with him yet. New main.
As an akaza main, I think tengen is really hard to fight if the other player is good and it’s pretty hard to counter string performance after a push block if I don’t have annihilation type ready to use because mostly the players spam string performance to start a combo
Personally I believe Tangen is a solid character but really depends on your play style as you said Tangen may not be the best right now but he is an amazing Assist although I will say if your tournament returns I’d love to see how players use him maybe learn a thing or two but right now Tengen with Zenitsu Is my favorite thing going in right now

Honestly just wait until the Character Pass goes on sale for $10 (maybe even less),i am severely disappointed that almost half a year after Season 2 ended this doesn’t include any kind of story mode since I’m more of a single player than multiplayer guy so they pretty much left us out of the fun,they should’ve just waited until the anime was over to make a game tbh since the game still feels lackluster as hell,all they have to do is add some community events and some raid battles to keep the game alive between anime seasons since I figured their strategy may be releasing monthly characters way after the season ends to keep interest in the game and the brand while the anime returns,but just dropping one character and then leave the room is just not the way to go,overall I am just disappointed with how soulless the game feels besides the pretty animations,Demon Slayer has so much potential for an amazing videogame but,Hinokami is just not it.
Faster than Giyu and strong as Rengoku definitely a cheap character to use. It’s cool if you use him once in a while but if you main Tengen Uzui you have no skills and let the game play itself

When it comes to fighting games, future dlc characters don’t come with the deluxe edition than other what it already gave you
Highest combo damage is 7603, no boost or surge but it does end with an ultimate attack 💪
