would like to know how much this cost. mine is a 2017 and the rust spots are fewer and smaller, but would be nice to get it fixed before it gets worst?
i agree with the common areas of rust forming but in my professional opinion you have the cause wrong its happening in areas of overlapping sheet metal that's spot welded i know for at least the older non USA models they did not use a weld though primer nor an e coat they use a cavity wax and cavity wax does work but not forever and in my opinion needs re coating and has many draw backs like uneven coating and poor penetration in overlapping panels thus the reason why the panels rust in those areas. the do have areas that are prone to chips but i dont believe they are the major contributor the cavity wax and many places thought out the frame and body i,e body mounts front cab collecting mud and trapping moisture 20years auto body /custom painting/fabrication and 10 years heavy equipment mechanic good video outside of of that just got done doing a resto on a 91 300gd with the om603 straight 6 diesel and made all the patch panels in similar fashion id be interested in how much you charged your customer on this job if your willing toi share d.m. me

Hi. Was the windshield gasket replaced, or just lifted and placed back?
I have a 2008 g500 and have the same issues. I was wondering if you can give me a quote on how much repairing this AMG g wagon was.
