Just goes to show u even the easiest solos to write and play sound the coolest u don't need speed or technicality to have the best solo all it takes is emotion
Yeah for sure but also Neal Schon is one of most technically proficient guitar players out there. I love how he’s able to still write incredibly melodic and tasteful solos while still shredding from time to time.
Neal Schon was very good at writing (creating) and composing guitar solos. But a solo like this is not really "easy".....It is easy to screw the bends up and be sharp or flat.. Over 40 years of playing and 28 years live gigging,..I have seen guys that can absolutely rip but will turn around and butcher solos like this.
@@Marcorosas24 Please... I've probably made love to Stairway to Heaven more times when I was in high school, than you have listened to it all alone in your parent's wood panelled basement. LOL
It's not just about Neal's playing that makes this one special-although "feel" is part of it-it's the way it was composed. It's so concise. It fits the song perfectly. It takes the music to another place. It creates another strong voice to counter Steve Perry. Jimmy Page's solo on "All My Love" fits into the same category. Anyway, nice job young man! You've inspired me to pick up the guitar again. Thanks.
Thanks for the video. I needed to learn this solo in 2 days and your video hit the mark! I got very close when the band sprung it on me. I've heard it on the radio enough and my amp tone was spot on that the band thought I nailed it. I knew that I was only about 75% correct and this video brought me the rest of the way. Thanks again sir.

Alex Lifeson of Rush is a prime example. Or Robin Trower.
it's very easy to play when it's already there but that easy to write

@@oscarjetson128 nah, Bohemian Rhapsody is the true king of solos. There are arguably two solos in the song.

Good job man! 🤘
This solo is so cool to play, such a good vibe... great feeling!
I like when a player lets themselves shine through a little bit instead of trying to play lines in a rigid context. Good job with that.

Not bad kid. Vibrato needs to be a little sharper.
