- Just as they did with Batman '89, Warner Brothers created an audio/ video press kit cassette for distribution to major network & TV programs to promote the release of Batman Returns. The cassette included a featurette, cast & crew interviews, trailers & film clip segments, and B-Roll footage. Networks & TV production companies would select the segments they wished to use & edit them into their programs. The tape was never intended for public viewing.While most of the content included is now available, the full interview segments and complete b-roll footage I believe are still unique to the press kit. Those little tiny penguins with the rockets strapped to their backs, is one of the cutest things I've ever seen.
Brilliant apparently devito stayed in character a lot as penguin, But here you see him out of character with Burton and he then immediately flips the switch back to being penguin💯 best performance.
Wow this is amazing to see! This is proof that they were real penguins!
The far away shots yeah, just the close up shots when they standing still. It was a mixture of robots and small people in suits for those shots.

Oh my God how was I so terrified of Danny Devito as penguin?? The last part is the best. Little did I know as an adult he would warm my heart as Frank!

This is one of my favorite movies ever! And, as the '89 movie, it's my second favorite Batman movie in a ranking with only two tiers!

Do crazy to know that as Tim Burton was putting this masterpiece together, the animation department at WB was putting the final touches on BTAS! 2 great BATMAN related projects released the same exact same year! Hell, the great make-up job on Danny DeVito led the animators to essentially blend their Penguin's features with Danny's. Not to mention that songwriter and music great Paul Williams provided his animated voice.

Most of the stuff is already out there. The feature has already been released on one of the DVD sets. The clips are just various segments from the movie. And the trailer is just the same trailer. I will be uploading the sound bite interviews soon though!
