Hey guys, at the end of this video I briefly feature how I style my fit around the hairstyle. Is this something you'd like to see more of in future videos?
Great video by luca as always. Just wanted to add that, If you're someone with really short hair and you're discouraged by hearing him say almost 2 years, well don't be. I've been growing my hair out for 7-8 months now and even though my hair isn't as long as Luca's, it's pretty long that I can tie a slight bit. But more importantly, the being able to tie up your hair is just the final bit of the journey. Throughout your growth you'll hit different phases of hair length and each of them are on their own, a new hairstyle. SO PLEASE, DON'T GET DISCOURAGED BY THE TIME. Try to grow out for a few months, watch more of Luca's videos, be cautious about the awkward stages, and if it still doesn't suit you, just short it then :)
I’m looking at all the Eren comments but I just came here to find out how long my hair needs to be for a man bun and how to do it in the first place ;-; Thanks for the tips man, you’re the best, cheers

Anyone else growing out their hair? Started June 8, let’s see if I can grow it for a year. Update - hit 6 months on Dec 8 & still going strong 💪🏽 😬 Update 2 - It’s been 1Y & 1M so far 😬 I can’t believe I’m still growing my hair, can do man bun but the sides need a few more inches to have it comfortably in a bun.
@@leoq5313 Ayy my man same bro. What length are you at currently? I'm at 6 inches on top and 5 inches for the sides and back (sides are shorter as i grew it out from a tight skin fade with 2 inches on top). I did get a trim like 12 weeks ago, and will be getting one in 2 weeks
I'm close my 1-year hair growth journey and the man bun is starting to come alive. You've been a inspiration all throughout and look forward to more interesting content Luca.

Never judge a book by his cover, I guess that was a reminder.
What do you to to your hair to keep it so thin/tamed when it's down? Not sure if those are the right words but mine is longer than yours it's almost half way down my back but it's thick curly and poofy I've been battling this for years now just constantly doing a pony tail with 3 bands in it starting at the base middle and end of it to try to hide the thick curly bush that it becomes if I don't use 3 bands...my girlfriend told me to get my hair cut in layers but doesn't that make it different lengths making styling a bit more complicated and limited? I've had long hair for years but I'm new to styling and the care process like creams and that stuff I've never used it since I've just gone with a pony tail since I was 19 so after 7 years of the same style I want to change it any tips on how to make my hair less thick and more tamed will be greatly appreciated
Can anyone explain to me how he ties it back in the wide swirl? I'm struggling to imagine how it works and all I can seem to figure out is to just fold it in half.
Hey Luca been watching for a few years now. I don't get the chance to catch all your vids so sorry if you've gone over this before, but what camera, mic, and software do you use for your vids?
Hi Luca, I wanted to ask you a question: Do you think that swimming can be an issue for long hair? I ask you this because there are a number of things I think might damage your hair, such as tight swimming caps and chlorine
the chlorine definitely damages hair over time and I've experienced that from swimming regularly. However, wearing a swim cap will greatly prevent hair damage from the chlorine. Just be sure to wear a good quality swim cap that doesn't feel too tight and is quality material. There are also some swim caps that are sized for long hair
Holy shit Lucas... I'm honestly so flipping grateful I can across your video, like honestly I adore your hairstyle. The loose bun is awesome I just tried it and Holy crap I am in love with it. Thank you some much!
i remember watching your videos about 6 months ago trying to decide if i was going to cut or keep growing, currently at shoulder length with my extremely thick and curly hair and bun it everyday
Hey, can you link some of the hair products used here like the cream and oil? I'm growing long hair, have never used this stuff before, and don't know anything about it. Currently it turns into a frizzy mess. I see your amazon links in the description, but the hair products themselves aren't present.
My son has long hair now and it's long enough for this. I've been trying to convince him to try a man bun. He's 18 and not likely to listen to me. He also has 2nd/3rd day hair all the time now because he's in lockdown all this time and feels no need for regular showers. How can I convince him to try this style? I think the beard adds to the style very much and my 18 year old can not pull that off right now as his beard is quite patchy and doesn't come in evenly. That'll have to wait for sure.
I want to ask that how you manage to grow this long hair and i want this style but just the problem is that i dont know which cut i should do means the middle cut or the side cut to have my hair grown
hey luca, need to know what is your hair cream type... because I dont like a man perfume type hair cream.. Besides, does hair cream use before or after blow dry?
Had my last haircut in January. Hair's pretty long now, long enough to make a small man bun. Hopefully it keeps getting longer. It's hard to grow hair from an undercut but things seem to be getting better now.
Why can't I curl my hair like you? my hair has been 13 months since Comma Hai hairstyle, I can fold it but after a while they will loosen and grow, then loosen quite a lot, also after I wash my hair, my hair is STILL and REPAIR quite a bit, should I trim a bit at the ends of my hair?
Going for man bun now aswell. After went from a more gentleman, with faded sides to more shorter with fade into now going for an man bun. Wish me luck ,sending you pictures in approximately two years :)
what kind of conditioners would you recommend for thick black latino hair to prevent knotting. I'm about to be a year in to growing my hair and its becoming knotty.
Is this how you dry your hair daily?? If not, could you make a tutorial? My hair take way too long to airdry and I've bee wanting to try new healthy alternatives
I've shaved my head in april, at the end of august I started to grow out my sides, now I'm rocking some sort of "side pompadour", my sides are 4-5 cm long (even tho they don't seem that long). I'm getting used to longer sides (and puffier face lol) I think that I'm already past the worst stage, I always failed when my hair was 2-3 cm long, I always felt like shit and ended up getting fade as usual lol My goal is to have man bun, but I have a long way in front of me, your channel is my motivation, you made me want to grow out my hair in the first place, hopefully I will comeback to this comment in 1-2 years with full man bun haha
